The guy is going to have a bullseye on his jersey, but if he's available in the second round, I think you have to draft him. I think this has disaster written all over it, but I hope I'm wrong.
Honestly, no one here gives 2 cents of your opinions on the Texans. Smith has done an excellent job in acquiring talent, mainly through the draft.
We're posters in the internet who spend a small amount of time watching players and listening to the hype. Our staff spends ALL of their time watching film on every available player, and we obtained an extra 3rd round pick in a very deep draft. I trust them more than any of you guys.
Well, while I disagree about you being a bad poster, you do nothing but criticize everything about the Texans when you post about them (which is often) and it does get annoying at times. But outside of the Texans bashing while saying you are a fan, you're all good with me
I feel the exact same way. Ive always thought drafting Gerhert at our position is a little high for him, he's a basically what you see is what you get type player. Yea he would improve our short yardage situation but when theres Tate and other guys you can still get later in the round then you have to make this move. We have alot of areas to improve and we just got another high round pick to use
