I watched him play once this past college football season, and it was the Boise State Game.

Matthews ripped off 3 60+ yard TD runs in that game, finished with around 230 yards.

    It was pretty incredible.

    Comparison?

I'd say Frank Gore, runs well between the tackles but can take one to the house at any time.

Oddly enough those 5 are the guys I would most want the Texans to take.

Reminds me of Ronnie Brown, not sure if he's as powerful as Frank Gore like Moes suggested.

God Kiper is such an idiot.

His top 3 RBs are Spiller, Best, McCluster.

Spiller would be an amazing pick. I don't know too much about Matthews though.

By most accounts, Spiller won't get past Seattle twice.

Wow thank you. Seems like a strong type of back that we def are lacking. I like the size.

I posted this in the other thread, but in realgm's mock draft, it has the texans taking a corner with 3 of their first 4 picks...

I think 6:30 is the start time. Not sure if that is actual draft time with a 6:00 preview or if 6:30 is the pre draft show.

Mathews is a one-cut, every down type of back. Dwyer is also a big(ger) one cut back, but Mathews is faster, runs with his head and eyes up and seems to make people miss more. In one of the pictures above you can see Mathews pulling away from Kyle Wilson of Boise State (#1).

That alls aid, Iwouldn't mind a #1 Wilson #2 Dwyer start of the draft. Just not so sure about Gerhart with the 2nd pick.

Any good places to watch the draft tonight besides @ Reliant Stadium?
