Yep. Anybody who saw the last two years knew he was trash that was riding the coattails of that fearsome Chargers DL in 2007. The guy has Phillip Buchannon written all over him.

Just draft Gerhart. Dude is nasty and just moves the pile.

I hope the best for Jackson, For the sake of the team.

Very much like Buchanon in that early in his career he made a bunch of flashy interceptions and scored touchdowns and people were hailing him as the next Deion, except nobody bothered to realize that they flat out sucked in man-to-man coverage.

I'll admit I was being an ******* last night, been trying to break my body down and curb my nicotine and crappy food addiction all in one fell swoop.

Anyway, Jackson seems like a physical corner. A little bit of a reach perhaps, as I did see a lot of tape on Wilson as well as watched him at the Senior Bowl and he was very impressive. I think the Jets are going to love him. McCourty I thought was just a notch below Wilson, and the Pats took him.

I'm hoping that Rolondo McClain will beast it up for the Raiders, so heres to Alabama's defense being legit.

I think he was just stating that they were the same guys who said "Chris Johnson is the 5th best RB in that draft."

So don't fall in love with everything they are saying about Jackson.

Oh, and I knew Chris Johnson would be the best RB in last years Fantasy Draft. I should be working for ESPN Fantasy.

There is nothing wrong with being an ******* towards Texans Fans, did someone say that isn't allowed here?

Go right ahead, I support your cause.

Seems like every other year there's a guy who gets lucky and nabs 8-9 picks and scores a few highlight TDs because his teammates are KILLING people and that guy gets a fat contract somewhere and we never hear from him again. I guess that is the law of averages in football... spend enough time on the field and throw enough footballs around and somebody is going to end up looking like Mr. Amazing despite sucking talent-wise.

That sounds like trolling, and I am not here to troll, I am here to talk football and give my opinions.

You, on the other hand I cannot speak for.

You totally missed the point of my post.

This guys is giving no chance to a player that is virtually an unknown to the so called "expert" mock drafters the exact same way Chris Johnson was. I'm not in love with the kid, its annoying for people to complain when they've never even seen vid, scouting reports, or projections.

All I'm saying is to give the kid at least a chance before ripping him.

And sure ya did.... we all believe you.... and you should apply today.

With Kirk Morrison, the Raiders should have 2 very good LB's. Morrison is one of the most underrated defenders in the league, IMO.

Yep, Cromartie has been absolutely terrible after having his breakout season in 07. But if Wilson is the real deal, the Jets secondary is going to be ridiculous with Revis and Wilson on both sides.

As far as today is concerned, here are a couple guys I'd like to see drafted by us (which means they won't be):

    2nd Round:
Lamarr Houston (DT) - Solid all-around DT.
Linval Joseph (DT) - HUGE DT with nice upside.
Nate Allen (S) - Solid FS prospect.

    3rd Round:
Ben Tate (RB) - Big tough back with speed for his size.
Myron Lewis (S) - Athletic FS with range.
Joe McKnight or Dexter McCluster (RB) - Not a huge fan of either but would be GREAT value if available.

go back and read my posts. I didn't say he was a bust. I said he was a reach. If someone is going to post a bunch of quotes from these "experts" about how great Jackson is why can't I use the same "experts" to evaluate talent?

    Double standard

In the rare instances that moe goes trollin', he's at least funny. You, on the other hand, are just annoying, uncreative, and really boring. And yeah, there are rules around here about that kind of thing...

Kate. All I will say is you are a woman. Thus, your opinion is invalidated.

I love Kirk, he grew up a diehard Raiders fan... he works his butt off. He's always tweeting, just a great guy...

That being said, McClain is here to take his job plain and simple.

The Raiders Run D has been near last in the league for too long and the LB corps is being held accountable.

Depends on how it is done.I have had Houston fans be assholes to other houston fans and get the ban hammer. Trolling on the other hand is frowned upon and can get you a temp or perma ban.

I didn't say you called him a bust I said you didn't give him a chance by calling him a reach and crying for Wilson. Admit it tho, you'd never heard of Kareem until his name was called last night like 90% of this board.

The real experts are the NFL scouts and GM's, that is who I'd trust as long as they're credible with a good history of finding talent. An you sir are not trusting the organization to do their job.

Which is why everyone is wondering what the heck your problem is.

The Smith-Kubiak Texans have been nails in terms of player acquisition.

Top 10 in the league without a question.

How you manage to ignore this is beyond us.
