I'm upset at everything today. I haven't had a cigarette, and I'm 24 hours into a water fest. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *insert crying, whining baby pic here*
Oh so I didn't use the word usually and defensive? Other than Babin and Johnson, let me know which defensive players chosen in the 1st/2nd round haven't been good picks/the verdict is still out on (Connor Barwin)?
Just teams look for something different in their players. Texans like physical DBs, thats something we seem to go for. Wilson can cover though, but Kareem was also a 1st round pick.
Jay_Glazer draft has more depth in 2nd and 3rd rounds than any year in recent memory, this according to several personnel execs Hope the Texans do some wheeling and dealing tomorrow.
Whoever said we don't do press coverage is wrong. About half way through the season we started doing press coverage on most passing downs. It seems that is clearly the direction the coaches want to take the DB's.
Yep, and Kareem is a press guy. I don't think Wilson fell because he's a bad CB, just Texans wanted someone more physical and the Pats always look for versatile guys.
Jackson is suppose to be a physical, fiery competitor who shows great instincts. Adding him to a defense that have guys like Cushing, Pollard, and Demeco makes it seem like we are really moving towards establishing a distinct personality on defense that is full of attitude and physicality
I like that, Demeco will be happy as well...Still a lot more quality 1st round talent falling potentially to day 2
It'd be pretty cool if the Texans develop a defensive reputation for hard hitting. It's gotta produce turnovers though, and not through errant Pollard picks.
