I like the 2nd round pick. I like the 3rd round pick but don't think we needed a TE or at least taking one that early.

But since we drafted Clowney _ I would have rather them draft on the defensive side of the ball. And drafted a OT instead of a guard.

It's possible they had a deal in place before the Pats drafted Jimmy G. They might have made the deal yesterday when everybody was talking about it but kept it on the down low to confuse other teams. For instance, if the Vikings knew a deal was done, do they trade up to snag TB before the Texans like they did?

For the record, Mallett ran a 5.36 40 at the combine. As I've said before, that was slower than all 5 of the Texans' O line starters last year. I think Mallett would be a disaster for the Texans, but nobody's asking me.

 

You know what, Arizona could also pick up a qb late in this round to make fun of rick smith...

 

Why would you draft the 4th-5th (just throwing a # out there) when you can get the #1 guard?

 

We wouldnt need a TE if we would have resigned Daniels who loved it here and was willing to take less money.
