It would take a lot of guts to take Carr because of the response it would cause by the stupid fans out there with pitchforks, but if they are brave enough, I don't think it would be a particularly bad pick and honestly, we sort of owe it to their family after ruining the career of his older brother by being just a disastrous organization at the time we picked him.
I guess this rules out David and his wife coming to watch Derek play. Unless she wants to get another beer dunked on her.
Especially if they plan on moving Reed to ILB. I like Van Noy as well but he wouldn't have a starting spot most likely which would make him a bit of a waste at 2.1
Technically Lee is the best player available, not Carr. The Jags could use a receiver opposite Blackmon. If they don't trade up, Cleveland might snatch Lee up. Trade down to #7. Tuitt, Nix, or Jernigan should be available.
I wonder if Carolina would be looking to move up. If I'm them, coming away with Benjamin and Lee, even if you trade away almost all of your remaining picks, would be about as close to a perfect draft as you could hope for.
Josh Gordon facing possible season long suspension. Won't be surprised to see the Browns trade with us for Lee.
We will see. This roster is soft. Brooks is finesse, Mercy is finesse, Mitchell is finesse. They are going to look for the bigger boys on that line.
At one point he was wanting to play with Marqise Lee, now he is just wanting to play at all. One thing is for sure, the Browns will have a lot less dropped passes this year, but they took a hit in WR talent.
