Secondary needs shoring up, not against getting the best guy out there for this at 33.

Well we have our starter and our #2 set, but we could use a #3 probably as an UDFA

I want linemen; offensive or defensive. Prefer offensive. Do it.

There is a TON of noise out there that the Texans are going to take a QB if they can't trade back.....most of the noise points to either Derek Carr or Jimmy G being the target.

He's a supremely gifted passer, he just needs someone to teach him how to play better in the pocket. I wouldn't be against the pick since it would make my initial draft prediction back in like November come true of Clowney in the first and Carr in the 2nd but I certainly would have some reservations about it. The fact that Fitz or Keenum would be starting instead of him would alleviate most of those concerns though. He'd get a chance to grow into the role.

I think at the end of the day . . . . . no rookie should start for this team
[since we did not get any of the BIG THREE *grin*]

Exactly, if Derek Carr's last name was "Manning" instead of "Carr" we'd have had dozens of people calling for him to be picked first overall. He has a ton of talent, but there is a risk factor to him, which is why he's a 2nd round pick instead of a first round pick....plus his name.

It all depends on how BOB views him. If he thinks it's a good risk, I'd stand with him till I saw otherwise.

Yes, but your a tam that needs a QB, Draft the best avaialble and dont look back..
Its a risk and i might add a good risk (If it doesnt pan out it doesnt pan out (Heck Bortles might not pan out and he was drafted 3rd overall (with alot of other talent avaialble)

He made his living throwing very short passes and his accuracy over 15 yards was awful. There's more than his name that's holding him back.
