    Is that really true? The big trade I remember is Eli for Rivers, but that only happened after Rivers was picked at #4 (?) - and that only happens if Rivers is available at that point. For all anyone knew at the time, San Diego was picking Eli #1 even though he said he didn't want to play there.

    I would be ecstatic, because that would mean the Cowboys would have spent not only $50 million but also a 1st round pick on QBs when their roster is a mess.
