2nd straight year a team trades up right before the Texans to keep Houston from drafting that player. Funny, both times involved the Seahawks as the trading partner.
Hageman is flexible. Could be a 4-3 DT or 3-4 NT. At 6-6, 310, he's certainly big enough. Could also slide out and play 3-4 DE. Nix was great in 2012, but his injury and subsequent surgery have really hurt his stock.
We have to face Trent Richardson, Blake""Bortles and Talyor Lewan. Not worried about any of these guys. Not that Lewan is a bad player but good luck against JJ and Jadeveon
I would take Carr and maybe even Garoppolo over Manziel or Teddy. Bortles is the clear best. If we don't go QB Jace Amaro or Cyrus Kouandjio
Are the Texans scared to make risky moves? They had the chance to make out with Clowney and Manziel or Bridgewater. They better not take Carr at 2-1
No it's not. It's called "drafting". You are arguing that they should give up an asset (a pick) when they don't see much separation between the two players. How does that make any sense? The question isn't is Bridgewater better than Carr. The question is, is Bridgewater better than Carr plus the pick you need to move up for him. The Texans obviously didn't think that he was and teams use that type of logic all throughout the draft. And if you think teams don't make their draft boards and have a section of players grouped in the same category, and not feel the need to move up for one of them if another will fall, then we can agree to disagree.
