He had a crappy Bowl game- Texas Tech kicked the crap out of the #5 golden eagles- or whatever the name of that team is. Watched the whole game and thought he actually sucked- actually told the wife he would never make it in the NFL. Stupidest judgment on a player I've ever made in my life.
It makes sense to draft a QB in the 1st round even if you have to trade up rather than the 2nd because of the additional 5th year of team control.
Why would you need to trade with the Pats to select a QB. Are you afraid of the 49ers, Broncos, and Seahawks taking Manziel? You trade up to jump in front of teams that need QBs, not teams that don't.
Wow, you make the dumb comment about Seattle drafting him, and then get on me for my joke? Going too far? You really need to relax... take a break from the internet. Avoid media altogether. Don't worry, even if JFF isn't drafted tonight, he won't be the first overhyped prospect left in the green room after day 1.

Arizona and Cleveland still have 1st round picks, one or both high likelihood of taking QB. If Houston covets Manziel or Bridgewater, they need to think about trading up. Otherwise, it's Carr part deux
People say we have to many holes to take a quarterback #1 so I don't see why they would spend picks to trade back into the 1st round for one especially if Johnny or Teddy may be there in the 2nd.
True... that may be the case. If they pass on him again, that may say something too. Seems like if the Texans really like Manziel -- or if they feel he has separated himself from a Bridgewater, Carr and other QB prospects -- that they would be desperately trying to trade up at this point.
im scared that philly will draft him but it wouldn't be smart on their part...kc isn't going qb...alex smith is their guy i think...he will be a texan and we will trade up before cleveland for him....oh and the browns will have to settle for bridgewater(i hope he doesn't become a pro bowler after this) ...crossing my fingers
You know, he never put up awe inspiring stats at Cal (Golden Bears). Had the tools but he never passed for over 3,000 yards in either year as starter.
This only makes sense if Teddy and JFF are both expected to be gone by 33. Which I don't think will happen. I wouldn't mind either or, at 33.
He also benefited from sitting a few years behind Favre... something Manziel would probably benefit from too (but NFL QB's are rarely developed like that now).
Rodgers had time in a system with a HOF QB in front of him, with a excellent QB coach in McCarthy...Rodgers harnessed and refined his talent without having to experience a baptism by fire...
kind of invalidated some of the this HE SUCKS stuff folx talking cause Aaron DOES NO SUCK sometimes. . . it just is not your moment Rocket River
