Well, they can't all be winners. Project QB is Project QB. Still don't have a starter. Both Case and TJ could be gone if they trade for Mallett and don't cut Savage.
Most 4th round picks turn out to be nobody's anyway. At least this guy has the potential to be a starting NFL QB, though it's not likely.
I think if they had waited here, they would have missed out on a QB in the draft They have no 5th pick So, to move back up, it prolly would have taken 3 draft picks Thus, the move now
Used to dealing with pressure... maybe they should look at this metric more and more for college QB's, since the ones that always put up the big numbers nearly always have studs on the OL.
I said after the 1st day that I expected either Logan Thomas or Savage. BOB has the "QB guru" rep. He needs to be the guy to turn a nice lump of coal into a decent diamond. Ego demands it. Once Thomas was off the board, he had to pull the trigger with the next pick.
