It legitimately feels like there isn't even an NFL franchise in Houston right now.

Yeah I know "LOL there's not", but this is truly sad. The amount or fail and trust betrayal to get to this situation is mind boggling.

It really does. The city has had some bad teams in the past, but this feels like the worst they've ever been and it is easily the least I have ever cared about this team. I used to make sure my schedule allowed me to be in front of the TV every Sunday so I could watch. Depending on how the game goes, I may or may not watch the whole game. This season (especially these last 3 or so weeks) I've not even worried about being there. And I've not watched a single minute as a result. I know I'm probably not part of the demographic that Texans management cares about as much because I don't really put a lot of money in their pockets (rarely go to games or buy merch) but if the rest of the city feels the same way, hopefully McNair actually starts to feel things in his pocketbook moreso than in the past when the team was shitty.

once again we sit forward for the dramatic tension...
@Buck Turgidson versus the point spread. This time it's personal.

This will be the closest Deshaun Watson gets to the Dolphins all year.

And I think he stays home for the games? Honestly I have no idea about that...

Naw, this is nothing. I grew up with the clown show that was the Houston Oilers. At least Culley isn't dressing up like a poor man's version of Johnny Cash and leaving game tickets for Elvis. Or this team being a staple on NFL Football Follies (I may be a bit premature on that one). Sad to say, as I peer into the future I can't help but see one word that describes the fate of this franchise: "Detroit".

Oh and Bud sends his regards...

And meanwhile, we end up trading a 5th round pick for a later round draft pick from a team much later in the draft.

I get ya on this...but for all the circus the Oilers were, I don't recall seeing this much apathy in response until they literally said they were moving out of town. At the very least the Oilers were interesting. Once they were a lame duck, then for sure people stopped caring. But this isn't a lame duck situation.

It would be far better for the Texans if people were just super pissed, because it would mean they care....what they're seeing now suggests people do not care. That's far worse, in my opinion.

Not this game. Miami is not good (more talented though), not out of the realm of possibility that the Texans actually win this one.

The line opening as high as 15 in a game b/w 1-7 teams made me pause and think about taking the Texans for about 10 seconds.

Never bet on the Texans, that's a recipe for disappointment. Sure, the Dolphins suck too, but...it's still the Texans.
