didnt say I wasn't rooting for them. just stating what is probably gonna happen in the next two games and my wishful thinking rest of the way. why don't you read what I typed before you do a quote big guy? and in the mean time you can stop drinking the kool aid what did you say to that poster that typed 28-17 Dallas and cowboy nation. didn't read you going off on him. I think he was clearly rooting the Cowboys on that one anyways why don't you just go back to your day dreaming, keyboard warrior?
You don't realize what "beating yourself means". "hand somebody chances" = beating yourself _________________ On to the next game. TNF, home teams usually have a HUGE advantage. Texans will probably lose anyway. Hope I'm wrong though.
Yes, that extension was a huge mistake. Most good fans could see that one coming even before it was made. Ditto with the Cushing contract. They gave that one to him while he was INJURED! Unbelievable. I don't fault the Texans for not buying on Manning. But hitching their wagon to a physically and mentally deficient QB like Schaub? That's the reason Kubiak got fired. In all honesty, however, they were peas in a pod. The QB showed the same amount of perseverance as his coach, which is to say that at the first sign of pressure--ergo, the mental challenge of having someone equally renowned on the other end of the field trying everything possible to defeat you--they both folded like a deck of cards. Kubiak-Schaub finished their careers at Houston with records just under 0.500, as they deserved. Bill O'Brien on the other hand clearly has the intestinal fortitude to go toe to toe with the coach on the other side. You can see that. What we are lacking now is talent on the field. When that part comes, watch out. I love the new direction this coaching regime has taken us in, you just gotta hope they can drag a squeamish Rick Smith kicking-and-screaming with them along the way.
Man, watching that Terrance Williams TD again, the Cowboys got SOOOOO lucky there. Not only should Watt have had that sack, but if the DB doesn't get his feet caught up with the receiver and fall down, he's in amazing position to make a play on that ball and either deflect or intercept the pass.
Yep... the single biggest play of the game to that point... swung the momentum right back. Of course, the Cowboys basically were trying to give the game away with how they handled it at the end... and the Texans should have had a better play-call to convert that 3rd and 2 in OT. In the end, the Cowboys aren't as good as their 4-1 record is, and the Texans can erase a lot of what happened this week if they're able to win on Thursday (which won't be easy... but the Colts can be beat, esp. on a short week and them being on the road).
It was a lucky play.. BUT would you rather go into a game knowing you'll surrender that AND be +2 in turnovers OR just go in with nothing guaranteed? We even got the damn ball first in OT... smh Texans should've won this game regardless of that lucky arse play.
It was another really lucky play that did them in during OT, JJo played Dez perfectly and the ball even bounced off his hands, but a super lucky bounce let him catch it again on the ground. Super bad luck did the Texans in along with atrocious O line play.
Whining about lucky plays? I would rather be lucky and win. But in all honesty, Dallas flat out beat us. Romo and Bryant made the big play. And that will sit in our craw for four years.
They flat out best us, in OT, aided by a TD on a super lucky play and a FG on a super lucky play. The teams were pretty much evenly matched and things didn't bounce the Texans way....it's not like it's something to care about past this week, there's a MUCH more important game coming up on Thursday
You didn't answer the question. Texans got lucky dude dropped a TD pass when he was wide open. I'm not hating, just trying to give perspective.
There were lucky/unlucky bounces both ways...also Terrance Williams isn't very good. Given that the teams seemed evenly matched, a couple lucky bounces was all it took for one team to win.
You're running like a criminal from the cops answering the question. At least you didn't lie and say "nothing guaranteed". Hopefully the Texans aren't the exception to the rule Thursday night.
I just have to say, I am proud of the Texans' effort today. They played much better today than I expected, and held down a Cowboys offense which is designed to take apart a defense with the Texans' specific defensive weaknesses. It is a credit to Crennell and the players that they were able to come up with a game plan and an effort which was as good as it was, given the circumstances. Also, have to hand it to the Houston fans for showing up in such large numbers. And, despite what people want to say about Fitzpatrick, he played relatively well today, and was clutch in the 4th quarter when it was needed. That one interception, in my opinion that was on Foster, not Fitz. And Joseph could not possibly have played that last long pass any better. It was as good a defensive effort as I have ever seen on a play like that - Bryant just make an elite play. And Watt missing on that sack, on the long TD to Williams? How?? I don't know - Romo has always had eyes pointing out the back of his helmet, and this was just another example. I expected Dallas to win this game rather easily, and it looked like it might turn that way finally in the second half, but the Texans proved they are not going to be a pushover, not for anyone this year. Well done Texans, keep improving, and put a whoopin on the Colts!
I'm not "answering it" because it's an asinine question, obviously you prefer a positive turnover margin to no guarantees, but that's not really relevant to the conversation.
Receiver A: 320 Yds 11.9 Avg 0 TDs Receiver B: 250 Yds 15.6 Avg 5 TDs Receiver C: 376 Yds 11.8 Avg 3 TDs Receiver D: 354 Yds 14.8 Avg 3 TDs From these four receivers so far this season, pick the two you want on your team. Now I know sometimes stats can be deceiving, but quite often they tell the truth too.
