how so? i think the logo is pretty sweet. regarding the name, the AFL had the Dallas Texans who moved to Kansas City to become the KC Texans until the AFL-NFL merger where KC changed their name to the Chiefs. It's definitely a throw back name, and I am sure you had no idea. Typical ignorant Dallas fan.
Agree, but a win is a win and Foster's hammy's will always be an issue. OB has basically said he will use the personnel if they are rostered for the game.
Cowboys fans complaining about the Texans logo reeks of jealousy. No offense, Pele. It's not your fault, as a Cowboys fan, that our team's logo is much better and more representative of the state. Hell, it should be, considering the team's name. And calling the name stupid - there's arguably more history behind football teams named Texans, than the Cowboys.
A cow head reps Texas better than a lone star and the name Texans has more football history than the name Cowboys? How high are you right now?
This game is between two teams with the same offensive objective: control the clock using the running game. For this strategy to work in their favor, the Cows rely on Murray while the Texans rely on you-know-who. Now, were BabyDaddy ready to play, this would be a much more even contest but with him iffy (again), the advantage has to go to the Cows. Now, it's up to the Texans to negate the Cows' run game and should they do so, force Romo to beat them through the air. For the Cows, it's the same strategy - force Fitzpatrick to beat them through the air. Of the two, Romo is the most likely to pull this off because given enough time, he will play pitch and catch with Witten (who is NOT a decaying corpse), Escobar, Bryant, Williams, Beasley (who everyone forgets about) & Murray. Fitzpatrick is simply not on Romo's level as far as ability so this favors the Cows once again. I think that the team that gets the lead first will be the team to win this game because it will allow them to execute their strategy. Should the Texans go down by two scores, it will play right into the Cows' hands as that's exactly what happened to the Aint's.
Neither of these teams are all that good IMO, I think they are both 8-8 type teams that have taken advantage of a cake schedule in the early going. But the Cowboy love is a little sickening. So far they have beaten an awful Titans team, struggled to beat an awful Rams team, and a 1-3 Saints team that always sucks outside Louisiana. I just don't understand what they have done that is so damn impressive. I'm picking the Cowgirls mainly because it's in Dallas, but no result would even mildly surprise me.
Exactly as I would have written it. I think like me though, you probably just have no idea if were any good or not. How can anyone bet on this game with any certainty?
I can't wait to see Romo running for his life. He's going to look like a Keystone cop out there on Sunday.
I don't feel the Cowboys are as good as they are being hyped to be at this point but I feel they are better than the Texans. Cowboys should win this game but they are never a sure bet so a Texans win would not be shocking, but its unlikely.
