27th ranked starting QB vs. the worst pass defense in the NFL. The resistable force vs the movable object.

Let's hope The Big Tuna (aka Man Boobs) isn't smart enough to run lots of draw plays and/or quick hitting pass plays, since those are the 2 kinds of plays that KILL us. (see Phily, Indy, Washington, and Miami games)

Bledsoe was actually sacked by one of his own O-lineman on one play during the 4th quarter against the Eagles. Funniest thing I've ever seen. :D

Let's hope our defense doesn't sit back in a Cover-2 and let him pick us apart from the pocket. We have to blitz a lot. We can't get to him just rushing 4 D-linemen.

what the hell does that mean? unless it's a metaphor for your heart says Texans and your head says Cowboys, then ok. but if that's the case, shouldn't you have a Cowboys hat and Texans Jersey?

    No Max, I am not.

Right now Julius Jones has outscored Thomas Jones by 2 points a game on average.

The Bears have a good offense but they throw a LOT....so does Dallas, but Julius has a much higher YPC than Thomas Jones.

I can not decide which one to go with......the Texans are not a good defensive team, and neither are the cardinals....it is just tough....

Check his stats, pretty sure Julius has better numbers on the road then at home. Thus, go with option "B"

First off the O-line has got to protect Carr from the likes of Demarcus Ware. Secondly, Mario and the rest of the D have to get to Bledsoe. If he has time, TO and Glenn are gonna destroy our secondary.

picked up carr as a free agent in my fantasy league. will not be playing him against this d line. demarcus ware is scary, he's better than dwight freeny imho. I think the texans d line will make a leap and this will be a low scoring game with a lot of sacks. unfortunately, dallas has the better running game which will probably be the difference.

    sad part is. . .
this is the same thing the TEXANS SHOULD HAVE DONE TO BRUNELL
    but didn't
    I hope they have learned

Also . . .Double TO I think they will try to throw him some Make up Passes
for basically not using him last week

    Texans 13
    Cowboys 10

Yes, this is precisely my point! Do you think anyone outside of H-Town is going to pick the Texans? Do you think any pundits will pick the Texans? Nope on both counts. We're a 13 point 'dog again no one even expects us to bother to show up. So just competing in this game would garner brownie points with CBS, ESPN, etc. Yes, the pressure to win this game is ALL on the Cowboys. Big advantage: Texans.

Bottom line, if Dallas just waltzes in and expects to win, the Texans can and WILL beat them. You NEVER underestimate your opponent! if the Cowboys had a real QB, then I would agree they possibly could be a playoff team and would think we would be in real trouble coming into this game. Thankfully, they dont ... Bledsoe needs to be led out to the pasture because he is killing the Cowboys with his lack of execution and poor decision making.

It's hard to be a playoff team though when the Eagles and the Giants are both better than Dallas in their division.

One other thing, Kuby has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. I think that just may help us a bit. :D

Oh yeah, this just in ... we now have a REAL coach not the previous buffoon we were saddled with.

    GO TEXANS! :D :D :D

    DUCK FALLAS!!! :p :p :p

Yes, I agree. That's why I came unglued after that game. If we even somewhat compete we had a real good shot at winning that game. Yes, hopefully they are on the verge of playing a complete game. I think we have the talent to stay with them. We MUST make Bledsoe beat us though and not J. J.. Otherwise, we ARE screwed.

The offense has to step it up and we must get more than pedestrian yardage on the ground to beat the Cowboys. Carr has a BIG opportunity to shine and show that he's not overrated.

If possible, we need to grab the lead early this will help alot psychologically for us, Dallas is fragmented if we can further cause doubt within their ranks, then this will help immensely towards a potential victory!

All phases though for the Texans have to bring it! Everyone must bring their A game because Dallas has weapons on both sides of the ball that can really punish you.

Mario, you can immortalize yourself in Texans history should you make some game changing plays and sacks in this one! :D

Must get to Bledsoe early and often and Carr has to keep the offense on the field, get first downs and work to get points on every drive.

It's all about keeping Dallas out of rhythm and with a lack of confidence. Keep TO yapping and not catching.

...we'll (maybe) be friends again on Monday.

After Houston, my favorite team typically is whoever is playing the Cowboys.

Carl Mauck one time said he'd personally come help all the Dallas Cowboy fans living in Houston move up to Dallas.

Bledsoe and the Cowboys offense will tear you up if they have time. They have a lot of weapons--Owens, Glenn, Jones, Witten, etc. The Cowboys D is really only susceptible to the deep throw. The also went toe to toe with Phily and JVille at their places, good chances to win both games.

This is not a good time for the Texans to catch the Cowboys (after an angry road loss), I wouldn't take the Texans with the spread.
