Yeah, earlier I said the Texans trading up from 2 to 1 would be the most Texans thing ever. No, it wouldn't. The Colts throwing the game to the Texans, and thus putting a trade up to 1 in play (all while making it cost less for themselves), and then trading up to get Young, who becomes a top5 QB would.
Young will be a nice player, but I don’t think he is a historic type of quarterback to break into the successful small NFL QB club. Never forget your best ability is availability. I’m not prepared to say that because 2 or 3 other guys defied the odds that Young will too. I’d rather not take that risk.
If I'm Cal, and I care about winning, I'm offering a free paid vacation for every player the commits a turnover in the second half. Problem is, if Cal cared, he would have offered that before the game. Seems like Irsay may have...
Jim Nantz just called out the Texans for losing the number one overall pick on the Bills Patriots broadcast. This ****ing team is cursed.
They’re a laughing stock. If none of this staff is going to be there next year, they should have fired them all before the game and played all backups. They’re going to end up firing everybody and becoming instantly less desirable of a job because they don’t have the #1 pick.
They will. Take’s pressure off Texans and you still end up with maybe the best defensive player. Coin flip…
If some other team wants a QB at #1, they’ll trade up and the Texans will be holding their dicks hanging on to this late season win. If it “saves” Lovies job, that’s just icing on the cake. Extend the rebuild by 12 years why don’t they.
