Heh, I could see them keeping him on as a backup but yeah, most likely he's gone after this year. I don't think anyone is arguing that Yates is a good QB or even a decent one, unfortunately he's the best QB on the roster as of right now. I'm hoping they overhaul the position in the offseason.

Yates was on the couch a few weeks ago for a reason.

This despite so many teams desperate for a QB, which he isn't even an average one.

Career 80 QBrating is pretty much the cutoff

As long as he's Mr. Clutch on Sunday, I'm cool with it!

Have you watched this entire season? Hopkins has had only ONE 100+ yd game when Hoyer starts.

Hopkins was a none factor all game against Bengals until Yates show up.

This is why i said everyone really sounded foolish right now. Your first sentence said it all.

According to some here, if you're not an automatic lock to win the Superbowl, you should just tank.

I predict 2 picks on Sunday. Yates just isn't accurate and BOB knows it.

I predict a Texans win and getting to watch my Colts-fan friend put on my Cushing jersey and chug to the Texans at an Indy bar afterwards... at least I hope, otherwise I'll be doing it to them......

Yeah, either Hopkins is going to have a great game or Vontae Davis (or Mike Adams) is going to have a great game.

I'm fine with this statement actually. Just throw up a lob to him and give him a chance and he will probably come down with it.

It's really hard to call this game but I know for sure that either the Texans win or the Colts win on Sunday. You heard it here first.

I think it comes down to JJ Watt. How good can he be with his club hand? I don't think the Colts have the defense to stop a TJ Yates led Texans offense because he doesn't shut down Nuk Hopkins like Hoyer does. That means the Texans defense will decide this. If they can have a decent game, Texans win.

BoB will call a conservative game for Yates. I anticipate more wrinkles in the wildcat and trick plays, but will the Colts be ready for it? The Jets weren't ready, but the Pats were. They will allow Yates to take some chances on deep balls to Hopkins/Washington but I don't think BoB will let Yates throw it short or medium too much because he is inaccurate.

The defense has to play well. They cannot let Hasselbeck beat them twice in a season. This is the most important game of the year and they have to play like it. Defense has to be sharp.
