    Isn't that the definition of a fumble? Hitting someone so hard the ball comes out of their hand?

    And the ball went *backwards*. Therefore it's a live ball.

    He tried to throw the ball then he brought it back in and fumbled it. Terrible call especially in light that they reviewed it. Unbelievable.

    How was it safe? It's 3rd and 2, running off tackle is a pretty standard play. If you can't convert a 3rd and 2 against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, you don't deserve the first down.
