I also remember the defense had lots of trouble getting pressure/penetration up the middle. Dan O. was stepping into the pocket to avoid the pincer every play, and bought himself precious seconds all night.

Who are the lineman in the nickel/dime sets? Barwin, Smith, Watt, Reed?

I have one simple question: Was there anything wrong with blitzing the Colts when they started at their own 22 with 1:50 left and no timeouts.

I'm sorry one more: What was right about deciding to blitz on back to back plays at your own 2 yard line resulting in a penalty and one on one coverage with the worst cb on the team against the other team's best wr?

Not gonna pretend I read the first 53 pages of this thread, but need to rant and this seems like the spot.

First of all, good win Texans. Wasn't our best game but we got the W and that's what counts.

Seriously though, we did win that game, despite Kubiak's complete and utter "were gonna give TJ the whole playbook" hypocrite crap. Who better to practice this system against than the 1-12 Colts?

The reason we get a "L" in the column is because there was a deep and intricate involvement by the super-rich, bookmakers, NFL, etc etc.

The poor (or if bribed rich) refs had to act out like puppets. Of course it was much, much easier considering the fix was for the home team, but still, your chosen* living is a professional referee of the highest caliber. It must be tough to live with yourself knowing your friends, family, colleagues, and even random strangers are watching you on TV, knowing that they could do a better job than you.

About this roughing the passer BS, if they keep calling it like that we will have two things happen:

1)Little pus*** a** bit**** like Orlovsky will throw their hands up like a flailing emu every time they get touched, aka the new NFL flop.

2)The helmet to helmet hits on QBs will increase, because little pus** a** bit**** like Orlovsky will actively move their head in front of the oncoming defenders helmet in an attempt to draw the flag.

    /RANT

*perhaps they are chosen from (before?) birth and raised in secrecy to become superior controllers of score.

No doubt about it, the worst officiating I have seen in 20+ years watching football. It made me sick watching them hand the game to the Colts. The NFL and NBA both have corruption.

I am not a football/gambling conspiracy theorist. But it sure looked like either the NFL wanted the Colts to win or someone had big money on the Colts on the money line.

That said, even with 3 of our four best players on the bench with injuries a more than 4 play game plan and we win by enough to keep the referees from being able to influence the outcome. Especially after the first play turnover. 1 minute in TD.

Now that puts our offensive ineptitude into perspective. 7 points in 1 minute thanks to a turnover... 9 points and 0 touchdowns the other 59.

John Mcclain thinks he's the voice of reason for Houston. Shutup you slobbering idiot, stop stating the obvious.

Why did we bother signing Joseph if we're going to let Kareem cover guys like Wayne? Isn't the point of signing a #1 CB is so that they can cover #1 WR's?

Not defending Kareem, but Joesph wasn't having a stellar evening.

John Mcclain is so ******* irritating on 610, talking over everyone, interrupting, overbearing as hell with is opinions, ****ting on caller's thoughts with his own.

I would agree, if Watt doesn't tip that pass, Joseph is likely the one that gives up the game winning TD, but I still don't think that justifies putting Jackson on Wayne.
