Always a pleasure to watch Kubiak get outcoached by Manning. There has got to be SOME former Denver Broncos assistant out there Kubiak can hire who can figure Peyton out, right? Right?

This is a game that was clearly lost by Kubiak. I've supported him pretty much throughout, but I've had it with the weak gameplans, the it's on me to get team ready BS and inability to actually do so.

Gary, run the damn ball!!!!! You know we beat the colts in week one by RUNNING the DAMN BALL!! The first half was absolutely ridiculous. The play calling was the worst I've seen. This game was there for the taking, the coaches effed it up.

Anyone know how DonnyMost feels? I haven't seen much from him, I really respect his input and just want some feedback :p

This is by far the most frustrating texans game I've ever watched. The Cowboys loss was nothing compared to this. This was a game we should have won. The defense has taken some criticism (and a lot of it is deserved) but they kept us in it. This loss is soley on the shoulders of Kubiak. His coaching (or lackthereof) was pathetic. So bad in fact that he should be cleaning out his office tommorrow.

I'll touch on a few players being mentioned a lot here:

Kareem Jackson- He's been bad this year but he actually is improving. He played a good first half, and while he did drop an INT opportunity, he played solid against manning. For as critical I have been of him I have to give him some credit for getting better.

Mario Williams- I understand he seems to disappear a lot. That said, I think he's playing legitimately hurt. I didn't see lack of effort tonight and he was right there at times. I felt he showed up tonight and actually loved the fact he was yelling at our garbage coaching staff.

Arian Foster- Dude is legit. The only person that could have stopped him tonight was Kubiak and he certainly did.

Matt Schaub- You can't do much when you're getting killed on eveyr other play. Of course he's going to rush passes and get happy feet when he knows that Dwight Freeney might as well have lined up in our backfield next to Foster tonight. Again, most of this falls on Kubiak.

Cushing- I'm starting to get worried. Yeah, he missed 4 games and you can definitely make the argument he's not in game shape yet. That said, dude is a workout warrior and I don't buy that (especially with us having a bye week). It concerns me to see a guy who was a complete monster as a rookie get busted for PEDs (a long running rumor with him anyways) and look pedestrian.

Duane brown- Brought back flashes of Ray "Freeway" Roberts tonight. One of the worst performances by an OL we've seen in a while. Kubiak should have yanked him. It was obvious the 4 games took their toll here.

Pollard- I've said many times I really like the guy but he's hurting us much more then he helps. He can't cover and now he's consistantly missing tackles because he's always in search of the bit hit. He can yell, scream, get emotional on the sidelines,ect..but all I want to see from him is playing solid fundemental football. I know he is below average in coverage but he needs to make up for that by being not only a big hitter but a sure tackler.

Jacoby- Despite the flashes of brilliance of last season, he is what he is. An extremely gifted athlete with below average hands and football IQ. I hate the guy but give me Randy Moss at this point. Walter is a 3

DaDakota- Come on man. It's painful to continue to watch you spell Peyton Manning's name "Payton Manning." I actually like you as a poster but you can't come into a football thread and not be able to spell Peyton Manning's name correctly.

mrdave is a ****ty troll and Andre Johnson deserves so much better then this.

how about that it was the exact same play 2 times. the same little slant. it didn't work either time.

meanwhile, foster was averaging about 8 yards per carry.

Very bad playcalling by the 'Denver Broncos boys' ... damn you Kub! Just run the ball ...

Foster would have destroyed the (run)defense of the Colts! 'We wanted a balanced offense' ... 15 carries by Foster? Give me a break! I don't want a balanced offense, especially when the Colts suck in rundefense ... ugh!

Can someone tell me ... why is Kub still our headcoach?

Short of having us take a knee or throw a hail Mary to Joel Dreesen into triple coverage it's almost like the Colts had a Madden controller on our offense. "Don't jam it right down our throats we can't stop it....Just drop back in long to develop pass routes and let our God mode DE tandem get to Schaub over and over.".

Because he is a "good man" that apparently holds way too much water with McNair.

Colts were coaching up their players
    and
The Texans Coaches coaching their players to the level of their opponent.

Colts nobodies were playing with confidence.

Well, just about ready to jump on the "fire Kubiak" bandwagon.

Already been on the "fire Frank Bush" bandwagon for quite awhile.

This team is too talented for what happened last night to go unpunished.

We were a better team, our coach(es) lost us that game.

The Texans cannot afford to flush wins down the toilet, especially in the division.

Kubiak or Dennison need a boot in their ass.

Gary certainly deserves a good portion of the blame. The strategy coming into the game was just flawed. It's almost like he tries to out-think himself. Keep it simply! I wanted to see the texans line up heavy and pound the ball, right off the bat. Even if you go 3 and out you send the message that you are coming at them.

Ok, so they decided to throw the ball early. Well, the pass protection was horrible. Brown got destroyed. It's obvious teams have picked up on the texans...in passing situations, blitz hard. WHen a team is aggressive in blitzing the texans, they tend to have success.

Pollard, love his energy but he hurt the texans a lot in that game...especially the first drive. missed tackled that allowed the big run and blown assignment in the endzone. It was a good defense called but poor execution.

Losing to the colts at home is understandable, even with injuries. But, putting up that big of a stinker with the national spotlight on you is pitiful.

I wish the MNF crew would have noticed Mario yelling at that D-line coach on the sideline. They showed it real quick, then switched back to sucking Peyton's jock without even mentioning it. I would've liked to know what that was about.

Where are all the "we're 4-2, everything's A-OKAY" people? This team will be lucky to finish 8-8.

What a great idea moving Cushing to MLB - thereby rendering one of the few good players on the defense utterly impotent.

Has Bernard Pollard done anything this year besides yell "**** YOU, MOTHER ****ER!!!!" on the sideline? I love how that turned him into some kind of folk hero in Houston with people (including me.....) saying our safety problems are over. Bernard Pollard sucks.

Good to see Eugene Wilson drop another potentially game-changing INT. That's just Wilson being Wilson.

Oh, can someone summarize Kubiak's press conference? Nevermind, I'll handle it:

"Well, shucks, we just didn't come out ready to play tonight, and that's my fault. We've just got to continue to get better."

I understand all the post traumatic game disorder but its not really a shock....the Texans got beat by a better TEAM....period. No one outside of Houston is really all that shocked at this outcome.

i am absolutely shocked that the coaches went out of their way to make sure we played to other team's strengths and avoided our own strengths like the plague.

i'm shocked that we came out passing after we already showed that we could run on them with relative ease.

we had the formula...we just chose not to give it a chance. foster averaged 8 yards per carry on 8 carries in the first half...so we decided to let him carry the ball less in the second half.

the colts had a bazillion different injuries last night...we managed to keep their offense from putting up a ton of points.

our coaches did not put us in a position to win this game.

I disagree, but really it's not what the discussion is about. It's how they lost, including some head scratching decisions. I am on some other boards with NFL fans who have nothing to do with Houston, and even they knew enough to ask WTF are the Texans doing?

I've been on it for awhile already, this is pathetic. Who decided to retain Kubiak, GM or owner?

but those are some of the exact reasons that DONT shock me....the team wasnt coached well last night....and Kubiak is not a good coach....so theres really no surprise to me....its frustrating as all hell...but its not surprising
