Obviously that has absolutely nothing to do with Garcon being injured for most of the season.

Bob Sanders plays less often than not, so I would not really figure him into the equation.

Didn't Jeff Saturday miss the first game? Is he back?

The run game scares me sometimes. It was pretty ineffective agains KC, and we had to rely on the arm of Schaub during the comeback.

We're still a better passing than running team, IMO. Why not start with the aerial attack and then chew up clock with the runninggame after establishing a lead?

Uh, the Texans had a defender every bit as valuable as Bob Sanders also out during that game.

The only person I believe they were missing in week 1 was one of their O-Linemen, which might have led to us getting some pressure on Manning, but I'm not sure how much of an impact the injury actually had.

This time, they are missing Bob Sanders, Melvin Bullitt, and one of their starting DEs on defense.

The point was our ability to score on their defense, not who was shorter on personnel in general.

Too bad we're still short a defender every bit as valuable as Sanders, though. :(

    exactly.

good point. the dude has barely played the last 3 years. It's not like they are used to having him back there.

THeir O-line was a bit banged up but I'm not sure if that was going to help stop Arian

Well, considering they were on the sideline whenever Arian was on the field, I would say I'm DEFINITELY sure they would not have stopped him. ;)

You're acting like the Texans were at full strength in Week 1, as well as this coming Monday night.

Well as far as my behavior is concerned I think it's pretty even keeled really.

But if you mean my argument leaves out the fact that the Texans were short a DB then and will be short a DB this Monday, you're right.

That said: full-strength Texans vs. full-strength Colts -- who do you pick?

Depends on where the game is played. If it's in Houston, I'll take full-strength Texans in a heartbeat. Week 1 was an ass-kicking, and I don't see any individual defensive player in the entire NFL who you could've inserted in that game for the three quarters that Sanders missed and dramatically changed it. It's not basketball, where one player can define a team/game.

Do you enjoy making up stuff? Injured for most of the year? Nice try. Even when he is in the games, he is clearly less effective than the other options that Manning has. Watch the games and see how many times he misses a route or doesn't do things the right way...manning has much less confidence in him than the other receivers such as Clark, collie, and Wayne.

No, he played in that game if I'm not mistaken.
