Johnson in 2001 with Dungy and 2002 with Gruden. Shaun King was the QB in 2000 with Dungy, Dilfer/King in 1999 with Dungy.
Without Collie and Clark the Colts will not win. Plus, the Texans are coming off a bye. They're set for a big win. Texans - 31 Colts - 21
To be fair the Colts are too. But yes, too much to make up for without Collie and Clark. And hey, Kareem didn't give up a TD over the weekend.
Id actually much prefer McNair filling up a briefcase for Cowher than anything else if we **** the bed from here on out
Interesting article from the Indy blog about their new "stampede/blur" offense that apparently Oregon runs as well. http://www.stampedeblue.com/2010/10/25/1774160/under-review-unleashing-the-stampede?ref=yahoo Those hurry up dink and dunk passes always seem to kill the Texans. Anyway, hopefully Mario having some time off will be back to his normal self. Daniels needs a lot of touches and I also want to throw in my support of some trick plays. Unless we win the division I don't think we can make the playoffs. Pats, Steelers, Ravens, and Jets all look really good. I can't see any of them missing the playoffs so tiebreakers will be crucial and we play both the Jets and Ravens this year.
LOL - yeah, that is not what I meant....but it was danged funny. I think the Colts are gonna score a lot and the Texans are going to be in for a track meet. DD
Why would they score any more than they did in the first game? If anything, they will score less with 3 of their top playmakers out of the game
I think we can all agree that this won't be the week the defense manages to hold a team to under 24 points. We're also, frankly, a low IQ defense. These guys routinely struggle to maintain basic responsibilities in a zone (though were worse in previous years). Best thing for them to do is stay in a vanilla nickel and let Cushing and the line run occasional stunts/blitzes. Wilson/Nolan over top of Wayne, Pollard over top of Garcon.
1. Revenge game 2. At home 3. Our defense played out of their minds week 1, switched back to being losers in the 4th quarter, and have been pathetic since. 4. Peyton has 2 weeks to study 6 games of film of this weak sister defense. They're going to get 24+
Yep. Sad to say but 24 is the least amount of points we've given up this season. Our suckitude may have caught Indy off guard since it was the first game of the season. I say they up their point total this go around. If we've made every other QB we've faced look like Peyton Manning, what will we make Peyton Manning look like?
If the Texans can run the ball and we have some of those long signature Kubiak drives then we should be able to keep Manning off the field long enough to limit a ton of Indy points. I'm glad the LB's don't have to worry about Clark. There should be more LB blitzes on 3rd down because of it.
Clark is a top 3 playmaker......Collie and Addai are easily replaced by other guys that they have Clark will hurt them
I think the Colts Defense is pouring over the Giants game. Trying to figure out the run. At worse - They may try to make Schuab win it strange as it may sound Rocket River
I'm praying that the loss of Clark has a similar affect on the Colts as the loss of Daniels had on the Texans. I think people underestimate the value Dallas Clark has on that offense. He was Peyton's go-to guy on third downs, and he could always count on him getting open in the clutch, much like Owen Daniels does for the Texans. If you remember, the Texans immediately went on a 4-game, season-ruining losing streak after OD went down against Buffalo. It took us some time to get Dreessen acclimated to the offense, and I'm hoping that it takes Jacob Tamme and Gijon whatshisface just as long. Collie will probably be replaced by Blair White, and Donald Brown will probably do fine in place of Addai, but Clark could be an irreplaceable blow to that offense. I'm sure Peyton will make his plays throughout the game, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, the Texans might be catching a major break here.
