Considering the injuries the Colts have I think we have a chance to sweep them. Last game Dallas Clark was killing us, now that he is out the picture all we have to worry about are their receiver. If our defense can hold them to 20-24 points I think we can win this game. Hopefully Kubiak will pound the ball, and not use the same gameplan he used against the cowgirls. If he starts the game with pass after pass, I think I might just shoot myself! I know we are one of the best passing team in the league, but thats only when we run first and set up the play action. Plus I want to use as much clock as possible when we have the ball, and keep Peyton on the sideline.

    Prediction:
    27-24 Texans

I hope the Texans pull it off, but man, they are going to have to outscore them again.

Isn't that kind of the point? Probably don't pull it off if they don't outscore them.

    Just sayin...

maybe. But Gruden is best at taking teams on the cusp of Superbowl winning seasons...not sure if texans are there yet...maybe a couple more years.

5-2 sounds a whole lot nicer than 4-3.

And 6-2 at the midway point sounds even better!

    :)

    But 4-4 would absolutely suck.

If we aren't on the cusp I don't know what is. Sure, we need to make the playoffs first, but the talent is there .... so far we are mostly lacking toughness and coaching, both of which Gruden brings. Hell, we blew at minimum 2 games due to coaching last year IMO (@Jags, home vs Titans conservative 3rd down call in the 4th to settle for a FG try).

I was referring more too the Bucs which already had playoff experience and was in expected to make the superbowl.

point being, i think gruden is a little overhyped as a coach.

He won a superbowl with Tony Dungy's team against his old team.
    IMO Very overhyped.

The next 4 games will be crucial.
    0-4 would be disasterous.
    4-0 would be great!

The fact that he got that team to the super bowl to play against his old team (coach by Bill Callahan- does anyone really think he's that great of a pro coach? obviously not since he went back to the college ranks). He built and instilled the will of that Raiders team that had talent and went to the SB the year he left. He might not have built the Bucs, but they had talent and he got them over the hump. Each year that he's had a fairly talented roster, especially QB, he's produced results. I don't think he's overhyped at all.

    All I can say is .. .
Look at Tampa Bay when Tony got there
Look at Tampa Bay when he left

Question: Do those Raiders make that Superbowl with him as coach?

He left a team that obviously had Superbowl talent.
For a team with Superbowl talent.
He only won because of his familiarity with the previous team.

What did he do since then?
Tampa up until now had been coasting on What Tony Built.

Whenever Gruden actually had a QB, he did pretty good. That was his biggest problem.

Gruden took almost the same team Dungy took into Philadelphia and came out with a win. Dungy came out with two not-close losses.

WTF does that have to do with the Raiders.

Tampa also beat the crap out of the 49ers the week before the Eagles.

Dis Gruden's game against the Raiders, heck, pick another AFC opponent. But the fact remains he STILL takes Dungy's first round and out team to the Super Bowl.

Gruden gambled on the wrong QBs after Johnson left.
