Tough loss. Too many turnovers against a good team. This is the first time we've played them that I felt we could legitimately stand toe to toe with them and duke it out. Holding that offense to 20 points in Indy is an excellent showing. I think the tide is really starting to turn for us.
It's called being a disiplined football team, something a coach is supposed to make his team. I can't believe people are still taking up for this clown. It's the same garbage week after week year after year. Yeaa moral victories!
don't be so damn ridiculous. if you're gonna blame Kubiak for anything it should be for missing the field goal.
Get them at home in 3 weeks and we've got a great shot at 10-6. Those Miami and New England games are going to be tough to win but if we take care of business until then we could already have 10 wins by then.
No idea Matt Stover was available to Vinitieri. Kicker has one job what has he made 50% of his field goals this year?
and how would you say he handled the slaton situation? at some point these players have to be accountable.
Kub, Shaub, Moats, Brown are not to blame....I blame the idiotic penalties on our defense (i.e. personal fouls) and our OL.
No. They should both get carries. Moats still has a better burst at the line of scrimmage and is hitting the holes better. Slaton is the better blocker and receiver.
Ryan Moats and Kris Brown are both terrible. Neither is a great running back, and they cant catch and go near as good as Slaton. Ryan Moats easily cost us this game with his fumble, and the same can be said about Kris Brown against the Cardinals/Jaguars. Slaton any day.
You would have a point if the team was averaging Raideresque level of penalties. But having two-three times your average in penalties in one game screams at me of being flukish. I mean, the Rockets average low teens in TOs. You telling me you would be calling for the coach's head if in one game we had 30+ turnovers?? IMO the only thing on Kubiak today was letting the clock tick to the 2min warning giving the Colts time to challenge the play. And even then it was a sound decision at the time based on giving the colts less time for their possession after the Texans finished theirs. I thought Moats was out of bounds at first as well on the fumble. Then on the replay thought his knee was down before the ball came out when he flipped.
That would be Chris Brown. Kris Brown missed the FG at the end, but hit the 56 yarder at the end of the first half.
