Adibi was all over the field with 13 solo tackles. Kubiak better start him over Morlon Greenwood who shouldn't even be on the team with the money he makes. Cochren, Bulman, Molden and Barber need to play more instead of Weaver, Faggins and Ferguson. Need to take a look at the younger players.

I was just wondering how much longer you would give Okoye to develop. He was always going to be a 3-4 yr project. But with how much need we have at DT, do you draft someone ready to play now and try to trade him or do you still play him every game?

disbelief? I called it. When they got the ball with just under two minutes, I told everyone, "Watch here: the Texans are going to start moving the ball, get a couple first downs, and get your hopes up, then Rosenfumble's going to pass it to the free safety."

Hello and welcome to week 1!

I'm pretty happy with today's game, to be honest with you. I expected like 42-3 or something.

Our LB corps usually get a good amount of tackles, i guess cause theyre taking up the slack of the D line.
    06- Ryans+Greenwood 100+ tackles apiece
    07- "-"
    08- Ryans+Diles/Adibi

man, did kubiak look pissed; i mean... *pissed* - like, i'm not sure rosenfels made it out of the locker room alive pissed.

unfortunately, it's looking more and more like they're going to have to address the QB situation this offseason, wasting resources they desperately need to use elsewhere. i'll be shocked if rosenfels is back and they can't assume schaub will stay healthy.

that, right there, is a killer, just a killer... the schaub deal may ultimately cost kubiak his job.

While all of this may be true, the good news is that Cy Creek won.

Sage chokes again. Was anyone surprised he threw that pick? You had to see it coming. This was brought up after the game, Imagine how the the Texans would be with solid QB play.

Did anyone hear Kubiaks strategy on the last drive? "Get to the 40 and throw for a hail mary"

    Are you kidding me????????

with a minute left we were driving to get into the endzone without throwing for a prayer.

Also, after the second anderson catch in their territory, we should have spiked the ball. The team would have had a chance to regroup and get everyone on the same page..instead we throw a pick

    D coordinator has to go

Imagine how good the Texans would be if they have an average defense.

 A week ago, you were saying there was no evidence that Schaub is fragile, it's a fluke, etc.

I was at a bar in NOLA watching the game when that final drive started I said I'll take a 100 dollar bet with anyone here. I'll take a Sage TO and you can take anything else

i know - turns out i was wrong: he missed time his senior year, too, due to injury. i do still think he's a victim of some vicious hits and atrocious luck - but they'd be fools to assume a) 16 starts from schaub; b) that sage rosenfels is capable of playing extensively.

Thanks for that, I missed the 2nd half.
Its a joy to see Slaton make the big play especially after his one last week being negated for holding, and all this dead legs talk by kubiak.

Just too many "flukes". And I agree with you here on both points.

if they're giving up career days on the other end of the ball to every offensive skill player, i'm not sure it will matter all that much. we were very fortunate the colts made enough mistakes on their own all game long to allow us to be that close at the end.

we've given up 30 points or more 6 times out of our 10 games. you're just not going to win that way. we have reasonable QB play...not great...but this isn't David Carr. Sage may be more akin to Carr over these last few games...but Schaub hasn't played that way. They've been steadier and the passing game overall has improved...one could argue that our passing game is our strongest facet.

We make bad rushing teams look like pro bowlers...we make average QB's look like John Elway. That's the real problem, I think.

I think the Browns game is huge. If we don't win that game, I think Kubiak may very well lose his job at the end of the season...because I could see this quickly becoming a 4-5 win season at that point....and I'm just not sure McNair would bring him back. We'll see.

You know, I really hate that all of our “highlights” over the years have had to have the caveat that it happened either 1) during a loss or 2) against a bad team. But that’s exactly how it always is.

Even the game promos on 610 are like that. “Johnson with the catch at the 40, the 30, the 20, the 10, ROCK AND ROLL TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!” It’s almost a little insulting that they expect us to get excited about hearing the call from a play that happened in a loss 2 years ago.
