Sad to see you think that way. So f*cking sad.

No wonder they don't do well in the games before... so many of you f*ckers coming out with this "realistic" reason instead of cheering them on, and others come in here fondlin' Paidtons' nuts. JUST Sad.

Vecsey, I didn't blast anyone for not rooting the Texans. I blasted the first person for saying how much they enjoy watching the other team's QB. So buy frickin' Sunday NFL ticket and never miss his games. F*ck.

    TEXANS win this one.

Look dude, I never said i wasnt a Texan fan. I have been one ever since the team was announced. I cheered uproariously when we beat the Pokes on inaugural nite of 2002. I cheered when Carr's shoulder was messed up so bad he could hardly throw but ran and short passed some to 17-13 victory over the falcons in 2003. I cheered when Carr brought the Texans back from 4 TDs down vs Vikes though we lost in OT. I tried to cheer for anything remotely positive in 2005 though not much. And if you read my ENTIRE post you would have seen "up to now." I believe the future is bright for this franchise and Kuby's our man. I believe we probably will be the most improved football team by the end of the year.

But, I stand by what I said. Lets see the Texans actually compete for 60 fierce minutes of football. They have a tall task ahead of them. They have to keep Carr protected, run the football effectively, eat clock, strive for points on every drive but at least get first downs to change field position and again eat clock.

Because, if Peyton gets in a rhythm we very well could be toast. You see I'm not your adversary. Your point of view is overly optimistic bordering on pollyanna while DaDa basically is a prophet of Doom. I am the voice of logic and reason. Sorry you are not mature enough to handle that.

    GO TEXANS!

I have this guy on ignore as he gave me the idea to do it but I can still see he's still talking crap when you guys reply. Can someone, Clutch, someone, make this guy drop this? It’s ridiculous. I thought this was so squashed and now I can't help but to see that it's not. Hey ya'll, don't feed his need to get on people's nerves.

No one said they weren't cheering them on. You making that connection is beyond wrong. And a sports fan has a favorite team...but if they have an appreciation for the GAME, they will enjoy other performances as well.

I take it, then, you are going to Gallery to buy your 3000 worth of furniture? Seeing as how you have your own version of 'realistic', I imagine this is a win-win situation for you?

Texans could very well win this one. In these games, anything is possible. But don't bash people because you think "I don't think they'll win" means "I don't want them to win."

    Calm down.

Let's see what happens first, Mario getting a sack, or Carr getting sacked...I'm betting the latter...

    42-9

Carr sacked only twice, sage will be put in the game

Mario 0 sacks..1 assisted tackle, no assisted tackles.

    Ryans 9 tackles

I'm declaring victory if Houston covers... which I think they will.

Progress, progress, progress... that's all I care about.

    Also, I love the NFL.

Well, off to sports bar with my lucky AJ #80 jersey. Hopefully brings us some luck. We sure are going to need it. Hey, if we can run the ball effectively and keep Peyton off the field and out of rhythm, we have a chance. We'll see how much we learned from the previous loss to Philly. Breakdown on this at about 4:30PM. GO TEXANS!

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict the impossible. Texans keep it within 2 touchdowns.

    all agreed.

but i'd really like to see a little D line pressure and some sort of O line progress. With those 2 continually improving, the secondary and running game will come..

This is laughable, so it is now the FANS fault that the team stinks, and can't win a game. You are the judge and jury as to how fans should behave and anyone else be danged.

Swoly, be your own fan and let others be the fan they want to be, there is no definition of a true fan, it is a personal experience.

Quit hating on people because they don't have your belief system in fandom.

PS. Is the cursing really necessary?

LOL - Prophet of doom, that is funny. I am just a realistic fan.

I have a prediction for you though, Gary Kubiak will lead this team to the playoffs within 3 years - but probably not with Carr at QB.

    :D

DaDa... damn, I hate you, man.

Besides, what I said is true. If fans are NOT behind the team, they don't feel like they have to win. I can prove it to you.

Anyway... since most of you are predicting a loss... why not just call Bob McNair or the Commisionner and tell him we "Texans" forfeit the game and there's no point in playing? Why not just sit down and let Paidtons "do his thing"??

BTW, you still watch the game... WHY? Just say "I know we're gonna lose... I am not watching it..." and turn off the TV. Just do it. It won't be that difficult.
