so what....4-12?? 5-11??? seriously, i don't see how anyone can say this is a 7 win team. i'd LOVE to be wrong on that. (i think i'd love to be wrong on that...frankly, they need so much help that getting better position in the draft could be great...assuming they draft the right guys.)

    Hey Smokey,

My suggestion a triple shot of Jack Daniels straight. It's just a bad dream ... just a bad dream. LOL.

Ok, my mistake. You did say 5 sacks in last 5 games so, he had two sacks in one of the previous 5 and not vs Philly?

He had two sacks in 2 of the last 3 games in 2005.

the game was lost as soon as Lundy fumbled

after that, it was all over IMO

and it may have been anyway ......we took the Colts opening shot, we were bloodied, but we were ready to take a big swing, and Lundy missed and the Colts countered with a left hook and we were KO'd for the rest of the day

Hey, I am just happy we showed any kind of sign of life. Now, we just got our butts kicked, not killed. Peyton didn't even have to work very hard. Sucked. I wanted to be mad at him but I couldn't because we were shooting ourselves in the foot.

I thought Carr looked pretty good today. He still makes mistakes that a 5th year player shouldn't but I can see improvement.

The one area I am most disappointed in, is the coaching. The defensive game plan was horrible today, and the offensive game plan that had Carr sitting in the pocket was pretty bad too.

I expect everyone will get better, even the coaches.

Yeah, that was my take too. They finally had something positive going and .... oh well ... nevermind. At that point you cut their lead potentially in half, could've infused more inspired play and perhaps took the crowd out of the game but, again I'm grasping for straws here. :D

I thought Carr was fine too. It was more our defense or lack there of. Manning should have been sacked, not Carr. Mario? What it do?

Peyton did actually get sacked once. Whoopie! Babin tagged him with a 10 yd loss but basically it was like putting a teaspoon of sugar in the ocean. No real overall impact or statement of any kind.

Mario forced a couple of hurries and actually when playing the LE got within an eyelash of getting Peyton sacked but, he still made rookie mistakes such as: taking wrong angle of approach on a tackle and thus, missing the opportunity or the ball carrier gaining a couple more yards than originally would've.

Officially, 2 tackles, 0 sacks and 0 QB hits.

    Not really.

The odds are, we would have lost anyway. But at least we would have shown we can stand in there with a SB contender and give them a fight, even if its only for a little while.

The seconday looked terrible...seems like the biggest weakness. Tailback position is the other glaring flaw.

I'm not suprised at all that they are 0-2. They have a very tough schedule and I really expect them to be 0-4 after playing the Redskins and Dolphins. Though the Dolphins are struggling and hopefully after improvement against the Skins...maybe the Texans can be 1-3 going into the bye.

I can forgive this crappy start by kicking the crap out of the Cowboys.
That would make my entire season because, other than moral victories, this is a building block season anyway. They are not a playoff caliber team.

Does Pink do the intro for SNF every week like Hank Williams Jr for MNF?

    Sad.

He was actually sacked twice, once by Babin and once by Morlon Greenwood

just throwing it out there but can anyone explain why whenever we had the colts at third and long they would always convert a 20 plus yrd reception? It was like you knew they would convert cause they had every single time
