andre's on my fantasy team, I think he's gonna have a great year. the offense does look a lot better overall. Moulds really helps.

we're head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect position for the #1 pick.

Hope Peterson doesn't get injured at OU

David looks ok in this fourth quarter. I think he would do well if the offensive line could do better. Unfortunatley, offensive lines usually take a few years of having the same good players playing together to get that good chemestry going.

Just heard a commrcial, lisitning to the game on the radio, about how Coach Kubiak knows how to win. He better have tapes of his Denver days or he is going to forget.

Do you think we are intelligent enough to pick Peterson?

that's a tough one, carr does look good starting out so far though. the key to qbs is touchdowns. culpepper was a big td guy in minnesota, but I don't know how he's gonna do in miami. its funny, I was just thinking about picking up david as a free agent, no one has him in my league.

Go for it. It seems like Carr will get a lot of garbage time TD passes this season.

This game was not as close as the score indicates

while we can say the offense looked good at the end
Well . . Since the middle of the 3rd it was almost all garbage time

I guess you get ya MORAL VICTORIES where u can
    but
Kube will be knee deep in their *ss*s this week behind this one
If he is a Good Coach he will be

Talk positive to the media. . playthe guys up
behind closed door. . . beat them down until they get it right

Fact of the matter is that the Texans were playing arguably the best team in the NFL. I expected us to lose, but not get flat out dominated in the first seven minutes of the game.

That being said, we all know that its going to take time for this team to get better. Despite the severe ass-whoopin' they received today, the team showed some positives (very few). We know that we need secondary help badly, as well as some help pass rushing (how much more can they spend on the D-Line?). On offense the line needs to get better and we need a solid if not spectacular running back to take pressure off the QB. I'm sure the Texans will have a op 10-15 pick in the draft and can address these needs then. Until then we're 0-2 and we play a very bad Redskins team next week, we may get our first win.

I admire those of you finding positives. I definitely think Carr is showing he isn't the real problem here...but how the hell does that even matter, now?

I don't see us being much better than last season, if at all. I realize we've played tough competition, but at least be in the game. We are supposed to be in the same league with them, after all.

The truth is, we have a bad football team. Again.

As for who they'll pick up in the draft.... :D Geez, they can't go wrong taking anyone. They need EVERYTHING. Seriously...what don't they need? My goodness, that's depressing.

by the way...so much for the "we'll turn any 6th round pick into a 1,000 yard rusher" mentality. that arrogance seems like stupidity to me.

No way I do that. Culpepper is capable of 40 TDs. Carr is going to be limited by his crappy team.

Did you see Miami today? Culpepper's only TD was a ridiculous catch from a terribly thrown pass.

We'll call him the key to the Chase for Adrian Peterson. Just like Kris Brown was the key to the Chase for Reggie Bush.

The truth we have an inexperienced team with some talent disadvantages trying to learn a new system for the first time and execute it against the best teams in the league. It's naive to think they actually had any chance of winning this game or keeping it close, but it's also quite shortsighted to declare the season lost after two games against superbowl contenders. It's going to be months before we reap any benefits. Some painful months. Get used to it.

Hey, while you are were piling on Carr, he has accidentally put up some decent numbers. Last wk 18-27 for 208 1 TD, 0 Int. This wk, 22-26 for 215 with 3 TD and 0 Ints.

Yes, we werent even close to winning this game, but this team DID show fight. Is this team the worst in football? No. The Raiders are.

The fact of the matter whether or not its garbage time or not, the Texans the last 1 1/2 quarters got into a rhythm and showed some flashes of promise.

This team is not a playoff team, but i will still say that there very much is reason for hope.

Mario on a few occasions rushed Peyton forced a hurry or two. He was an eyelash away a couple of times from sacking Manning. Oh yes, and Babin did sack Manning.

In a Colts game at Reliant a few years back, our only 2 sacks was Dunta blitzing.

In the 49-14 debacle, we didnt even shadow dance well against the Colts.

I know you all are saying so what but it's a start for Carr who is finally getting a decent opportunity to show what he's got.

Gado looks like he could be a monster for us. Hello runaway freight train!

Facts are this you see the Texans not beating themselves like in the past. Yes, we did spot the Colts 14 points in the first five minutes, but after that the Texans showed signs of a respectable football team.

Remember this, the Eagles and the Colts have been top 5 in both offense and defense pretty much the last 5 years.

Oh yes, and this just in maybe Kuby does know a thing or two about grooming QB's. Maybe you all should stop the Carr-bashing but I know some of you well find someway to twist his numbers to show he still sucks. Whatever.

Oh yeah and several of those Manning passes, it did not matter the coverage. The passes were that good, unfortunately.

Redskins and the Fins are not exactly world beaters. Call me crazy but I think we got a shot.

Bottom line, I see promise ... does anyone else?
