Yeah, ok, whatever. You keep your head in the sand, and when the team starts winning with ANOTHER QB at the helm, I will simply say... "Told you so".

By the way on that TD pass, he did not even read the guy coming from Moulds blind side...it was almost intercepted.

    :)

It doesn't matter if you read the blitz if your left tackle, left guard, and running back don't even touch their assignments. They're running full speed at Carr and getting to him in under 2 seconds. What is he supposed to do?

Did he make mistakes? Hell yes. On the 4th down play, if he pump fakes, he has all day to make the pass or roll out of the pocket. He rushed his throw right into the hands of the saftey blitzing. It could even be argued that the td pass to Moulds was poorly executed. Moulds was covered tightly. If the throw wasn't a little behind him, it's probably intercepted. However, on the sacks, he simply didn't have the time to get the ball off, read or no read.

    Colts - 31
    Texans - 17

Mario will get a sack in this game.

As I said it is not all his fault, but there are things he can do. As an example Payton Manning was under SIMILAR pressure in the Giants game, but he consistently rolled away from the pressure.

Carr has ZERO pocket presence...NONE.....look whatever...I have 4+ Years of stats backing up my argument, what exactly do you have, potential? LOL- come on !!!

Please don't fee the troll. And please stop quoting him, if you catch my drift...

I don't expect us to win this game with our secondary, but I DO expect us to establish the running game. The Giants were able to run it against the Colts on Sunday. We should be able to do it too.

Best way to defeat Peyton and the Colts is to establish the run, eat the clock, and keep their offense off the field for as long as possible. That's the key to this game.

Castor27, any way we can have a "Everything David Carr" sticky thread like the Mario thread so every Texan thread doesn't end up looking like this one is going to end up looking like?

The Colts are going to kill us. Payton will definitely spend less time on his back then Carr. If we get this W, I will be pleasantly surprised.

The Colts didn't look very good agianst the Giants, but that was against a great defense New York has. They really couldn't run the football, which will eventually hurt them because of all the playaction they do and that's what keeps teams from blitzing Manning. I doubt if we'll get any pressure with the front 4, so I hope we biltz a lot more than last week. They were worried about McNabb hurting them with his legs, Peyton's not gonna do that, so we should blitz regularly.

On offense, I think the Colts have a good defense, not as good as Philadelphia's but still pretty good and very fast. Considering how awful we were at running the footballl last week combined with the fact that we broke down on pass protections, the Colts are going to try and pin their ears back and go after David Carr. We should be able to run the ball better against the smaller Colts defense, the Giants killed Indy on the ground on Sunday night, if we can run the ball better and keep the playaction effective and also not have any missed assignments or busts on pass protection, then I expect David Carr to have another nice performance like he had agianst Philadelphia.

I think we'll lose this game and start 0-5, but I wouldn't be surprised if they play very well on Sunday. (however I would be shocked if Mario plays well)

I going to pick the Texans to win in a huge upset, by one point, and a late score. There is no and I mean no rational basis for this, I just have a hunch.

If they do win it surely will be an upset. I think Payton Manning is one of the best I've seen in a while. He's no Joe Montana but no one is.

See last year's Colts vs. Steelers playoff game to see Manning under actual pressure.

Buy $3000 worth of furniture at Gallery Furniture before Sunday, and you get it for free if the Texans win.

    Hey Captain Herbalife,

I say that because too much ganja makes you delusional.

This just in sparky, if Peyton had Carr's sorry assed excuse for an offensive line the last 4 years, his numbers wouldnt be much better if any, believe it or not?

Carr is not a superstar and perhaps he should've been drafted in late 1st/ early 2nd round that much I'll agree with but you comparing him to Harrington? You are totally and completely WRONG!

This is the first year that Carr actually has a semblance of a level playing field. Better overall compliment of receivers, a system that will actually incorporate the tight end and an offensive line that will do nothing but improve as the season progresses ...

Carr has the arm, the talent, the guts and the heart to be an NFL caliber QB. The only question is his leadership? Can he elevate the game of the players he's surrounded with? That is to be determined.
