only 24? I suspect the Chiefs will get at least 24 off of their defense alone. You think their offense will only score 0?
I really think this can get ugly. Charles will make a killing as soon as he gets to the second level. Ed Reed and Keo/DJ provide basically 0 run support. If tj or case start, which is probably the case (lol), Gary will run all day...KC and everyone else know this, stack the box and let's the texans o line try to pound away. Unfortunately our line is crap. KC will score around 20 on offense and we will give them 7. Ill give us 13. Late td
Phillips gets annihilated when players that lineup in the backfield start catching the ball downfield. On the flip side, he usually has an average QB's number. It'll be an interesting day for Phillips. I wonder if he comes up with one of his genius gameplans or one of his inept gameplans. If we have to comeback from behind we're screwed.
You know what I love about Case...he loves to go for those 35-40 yard passes...Hopkins all day baby!! TJ will start...but Case will come in when Yates starts effing up. It'll be too little too late. 28-17 Chiefs.
He gets annihilated when he's rolling out Mayes as a starting MLB. He personally gave up 2 TDs by forgetting to cover his man out of the backfield on Sunday.
In the event of a loss, I would consider putting some people on the trading block. Ben Tate Jonathon Joseph Ed Reed Andre Johnson; would only be traded to a contender (NE?) Brooks Reed I might look into trading Ben Tate for a Josh Gordon straight up. But these types of straight up trades never occur in NFL.
KC's pass rush is very good. If we can't run the ball, we're going to need Keenum back there, because he's the only one of our three QBs who can actually shed tacklers and throw on the run. If things aren't going well on the ground, I don't trust Schaub to be quick enough on his release, nor do I trust Yates to be accurate. If we lose this game, the best we can realistically hope for is 9-7. It will be a minor miracle if 9-7 is enough to get us a wildcard spot over Baltimore, Miami, and San Diego.
You can see the preliminary TV distribution map here. The Texans/Chiefs game gets the western half of the country while Clev/GB gets the upper part and Bal/Pit gets the east.
I will be in attendance at this game but chickened out and will not be wearing my Texans gear. John Clayton on ESPN radio this morning said the word around the league is Houston has been "figured out".
You think Gary is going to throw Keenum into that environment, head first? If Case plays, it will be because either Yates is totally inept or he gets hurt (hold your cheers...)
