Anyone know where one could stream on delay or download the game soon after the game? Thanks in advance!
Defense is just fine, they just need a lil support by the offense so they can catch a breather. My fears are that Kubiak will not put Keenum in a position to win with his predicatable/lame playcalling.
This When the defense sees no competitiveness or intensity on the offensive end pretty sure the defense will be discouraged.
I have a first play for Keenum. Everyone knows what Kubiak is going to do, hand the ball to Foster. Here is what I would do.....everybody go long.....well not exactly, I would fake the hand off and hit Hopkins running full speed for the TD, 80 yards. Why not? No one, and I mean no one is going to expect that. KC will likely have nine players on the line. Bust it! Then KC plays uphill from then on and that is going to be tough because the defense is going to be super pumped up to honor Bum's memory and their coach. I like it, let's do it.
So basically what they did against Denver last year. Frankly, I actually recall more games where they pass first vs. run first. They usually are pretty pass happy on the first drives. I don't see them being real conservative early tomorrow either. KC is going to be stacking the box and daring them to go over the top... something this offense hasn't done well all year.
That's been done a thousand times if it's been done once. Better to do a simple play action and hit Andre crossing the middle while Deandre and Posey go deep.
Someone should post a mythical creature of a half bull and cougar beast. Then thAt could be our new mascot.
just go flea flicker 1st play of the game. 2nd play, half back pass. 3rd play, statue of liberty. throw in a fake fg and punt. goooo allllll out to get the W!!!
So, you think the KC defensive coordinator is telling his players, "what ever you do, don't play the run on the first drive. Let's use a prevent defense, remember we are playing against Gary "wild man" Kubiak and he has rookie starting at QB."
Are you kidding? Kubiaks head would explode. Heres Kubiaks plan, ya throw on first and if incomplete then you run up the middle for two yds on second then ya hit daniels crossing the middle for 7yds on third and then ya punt. Anything other than that is just not structured and conservative enough.
It actually went down to -5.5 when Keenum was named the starter, then it dropped back towards KC's favor after Bum passed. Edit: My guess is that the line shifting back towards KC had nothing to do with Bum's passing, but everything to do with people in the country seeing that the Chiefs are favored by less than 6 points...and then betting everything theyve got on KC.
That's the thing, I think most people wouldn't be surprised by a bad start for a undrafted QB in his first year. If he doesn't throw a pick 6, that would be an improvement
Taking the money line on the Texans in a parlay. For whatever reason my gut is telling me the Texans will find a way to get this W.
If he's missing guys who are wide open, or just making really bad decisions with the ball, people are going to find fault. If he's getting harassed every drop-back like people expect, people will realize that it really doesn't matter who's back there. I do expect the ZBS, running game, and pass-protection to be at their best today. Guys know they can no longer make mistakes without being held accountable.
I think we win too...KC is a bit overrated and this just seems like the perfect set up for an underdog to go a take the W.
