He is a leader? Is he out there rallying the troops? Getting them fired up, excited? Ready to play? You may be right, but I don't see it....and honestly, it is NOT that hard to see....even from sitting on my butt here in Austin. Schaub SUCKS ! DD
I guess we can determine that he's not the same way that you can determine that he "definitely is". Ya dig?
Charisma? Whatever DD... you've become a characature of yourself around here. I would stick with making those asinine statements in the NBA forum.
3rd and 12....throw it 7 yards. 4th and 1.....throw it 20 yards. genius. this team has 8-8 written all over it.
The only time you call a 4th and 1 20 yard pass into the end zone is when you're a TD down in the last minutes of a game. Horrible call.
OMG!!! Did we actually get a hand on the QB before he threw? OMFG!!!! my jaw is dropped! (but seriously... the cardinals haven't put this game away... and are begging the Texans to score just a little bit).
The Texans could have had Cedric Benson lasy year for the league minimum but instead they thought Ryan Moats and Ahman Green were better.
Who do you suggest as the replacement? We're not getting Bradford. I would say Colt but we have bigger needs to fulfill with our first round pick. Quite frankly, Schaub is the least of our worries.
Will they call better plays for him? I think today its 65% play-calling, 25% execution (ie - Schaub's fault), 10% Cardinals defense forcing the issue. The first game was all on the coaching staff not adjusting to the Jets defense. Now, it looks like they brought out the wrong playbook for what the Cardinals defense is trying to do. TAKE WHAT THE DEFENSE IS GIVING YOU!!!
Your idea of the perfect quarterback that has "charisma" and "leadership" is someone like Vick (Michael and Marcus), Vince Young, Pat White...guys that dazzle you with their feet. If Schaub made amazing plays with his feet but made mistakes like that overthrow on fourth down you would be hugging on his nut sack because he has that "swagger"
