"It's on me and the coaches. Those kids have a chance to be special players...they bring their lunchbox everyday...it's on us to figure this things out and turn it around and we are going to get right back to work." Kubiak
The Bengals D scares me. They're pumped up with todays win and playing for their d coordinator. I hate to say it but this could be the last season for Kubiak and his staff.
The upside of this is that this just another nail in the coffin of Kubiak and Smith. It's obvious that are not the right people for the job and they will be gone next year. There are some good players on this team but there a lot of players who Kubiak and Smith drafted or signed who suck but still get playing time because their guys. Examples are Kasey Studdard, Chris Myers, Joel Dressen, Andre Davis, Amobi Okoye, and Antiono Smith.
how does a player mail it in 8 minutes into the game and the team is only down 7 points? because that was roughly around when that drop happened.
They also played an amazing Colts offense, thus their stats are going to be skewed. We have made the Titans and Jags (two average to below average offenses) look as good as the Colts. The Cards also faced the Jags (on the road) and made them look every bit as average as they should have.
We are the Los Angeles Clippers of the NFL. Seriously Mr. McNair how long is it gonna take you to realize this team will go no where with Kubiak as it's coach.
Well they shut down the Jags in their stadium. We couldn't even contain them at home. They allowed 20 pts against the 49ers and that was after a late score in the fourth quarter. It's safe to say that their D is much better than ours.
Jacoby is great once he makes the catch. The problem is, he doesn't always make the catch... and in the world of punt returning, THAT is the most important thing.
