Kansas City lost 8 in a row last year. They were the team last year that people were talking about having a lot of talent despite their record, and they didn't have as many close losses as we've had (only 2 losses withing a FG, 3 within a TD). New regime comes in and now they're 9-0.

I would have to see them again, but at the time it looked like his receivers were covered, so he was throwing them away.

    Plain and simple

The lack of running the ball killed us.

how many pass attempts ? 46? a running game provides protection so they won't key on the pass, specially with a young qb. definitely should have mixed it up more, but I blame the line. just 2 pieces to replace, newton and Wade but wade is coming off injury in the preseason maybe he gets it back

And with our lackluster defensivebacks, it's almost impossible playing man to man without imploding at times. outside rushers, yeah definitely one of the most important elements of the 3-4.

good thing about the nfl, you can go from dream team to chumps in one year or vice versa

I thought it was agreed on this forum that we wouldnt post any of Solomon's garbage. Seriously, he knows nothing about sports. Have you watched him on tv? He is unbearable, so annoying.

love it. If Ed Reed doesn't do anything on the field, at least his comments can hopefully cause a stir and lead to the firing of this current coaching staff for next year.

At least i didnt have to turn off the TV after the 1st half...Case keeps it interesting...but he needs to improve his sideline bombs...I really think his lack of touch came from too much excitement...he was way to amped up for the moment that he forgot to live it...This team shows you the importance of a player like OD...

Schaub often used QD for crunch time situations, bc he knew how to uncover...

The Texans receivers werent able to uncover at all...Even when they came with the blitz....there was really nothing one on one...

Secondly...this is the third straight week when intense blitzes come up the middle, and the Texans fail to make the easy throw...instead Keenum took a monster sack...why arent there the short crossing routes...hitch/ or hitch and go routes...especially with heavy/ overload blitzes...

There was this one play(actually several), the Cardinals showed heavy pressure on the right side of the line, and not sure if the safety or a LB came unblocked...This is where timing with your receivers and TE's matter. As Case gets more time to understand the nuances of the offense, he will get on the same page...

I think Case is a good QB...he will need more than just luck to come through...and he had so much luck after a terrible fumble 6 TD in the opening drive...There were so many passes that were just itching to get picked off...and their guys dropped it. As more and more film comes out on Case, he has to realize that teams are gonna blitz him relentlessly in the second half. It has to be up to the team to respond.

Finally last point, and Im done trying to over analyze a bad football team that is 2-7. I am totally convinced that Matt Schaub would ve never had our team in the position to even tie for a FG. Matt's weaknesses became more glaring as teams forced Matt to beat us threw the air. Matt's career as a starter is effectively complete. His weaker arm strength wouldve allowed the Zona defenders to actually complete the picks and return them for touchdowns....Matt wasnt the biggest problem, but he was really never a solution.

The problem is as evident as day...this system no longer works, and it's time for a total change on offense...

The Texans just have too many question marks at this point with their roster currently. Can anyone really expect players like Cushing and Foster to come back and perform close to their prime years coming off of major surgeries? JJ Watt is a beast but even he can't fully make up for the lack of play makers on the D line. Johnson is a beast but he's getting up their in age. What other major talent would this team have coming back next year? KC had 6 pro bowlers on their team that year. Texans currently just have Watt and Johnson and possibly Lechler on special teams who have a chance at Pro Bowl.

Ed Reed needs to keep his mouth shut, he has done nothing to earn the spokesman role for this team. Watt and Andre are the only guys in that locker room that can call out other players, or coaches. Ed isn't being a leader, he's only starting trouble.

Eff you Ed Reed. He's starting to become the Scottie Pippen of the Texans. Trash!

Do you guys think that Keenum will be better than Romo if he continues to be the starting QB?

Or he will never be as good as Romo?
