Did you watch the game? Keenum kept the Texans in the hunt until the last two minutes. Schaub couldn't have done that. I don't know if Keenum is the answer or not, but he's a significant improvement over Schaub. To deny that is to deny reality.

At least we didn't dominate on the field gaining lots of yardage in the second half only to have 7 points.

48 total yards on offense in the half.... Domination by the Cardinals

Cushing, Foster, and a healthy Tate don't matter to you.

They failed beat any of the teams of the NFC West...They should really finish the tank job for this season...

We know what we have in Case...a kid that needs time, but more than that...he really needs better coaching. The Routes his receivers were running were just terrible...no one could get uncovered...

Case did have a lot of mistakes today, but when your getting pounded to the turf whenever...im surprised this wasnt a blow out...great effort, but effort has led us to a 2-7 record...argh...those pathetic losses to the Ravens, Seahawks, really hurt...the near misses losses in 3 consecutive weeks really hurt...

The Texans should look figure out better routes on blitz situations for this young kid.

Proud of the comeback attempt, but it is what it is...we have a lack of talent, and the wheels are coming off the mediocre talent we do have...

The o-line did a piss poor job of blocking for Keenum. Also, why can't we disguise our blitzes like Arizona did? They were many exotic zone blitzes from the Cardinals, it was executed perfectly.

We need to stop playing so much man to man defense. Go to zone blitz, that's the way to go!

of course he's an improvement over schaub.

but when i said this team had more problems than JUST schaub last year people didn't want to hear that. schaub schaub schaub, that's all people could talk about.

now all the problems are coming to light. better qb. same results.

case 0-3 as a starter. 3 2nd half collapses. 2 failed chances at game winnin/game tying drives.

    and i like case.

McCain needs to never see the field ever again. He gets burned every single time he is on the field and it's so apparent to everyone except the coaching staff

Our goals changed from the beginning of the year to now.

Schaub started with the team at full strength. Everyone was healthy. With his 5 (and pretty much 6 given the SD one) pick-sixes, he basically took the heart, the spirit of our team, and just crushed it.

You might as well say that Matt Schaub took a bat to Brian Cushing's knee, Daniel Manning's leg, Duane Brown's foot, Owen Daniels' leg, Arian Foster's back, etc etc.

Keenum is keeping that spirit alive with a hobbled cast and losing gracefully. That is pretty much the most we can ask for at this point. Because winning gracefully would be worse now that we mathematically have no shot for the playoffs. And who would want to make the playoffs anyways, with all those guys out? Get us a top 5 pick, and a new coaching staff, and next year we could be right back up and cooking again.

Tate is not good in the screen game. Not quick or elusive like Foster.

again. it's not about schaub vs. keenum.

it's about the problems the texans have had all along WITH schaub they they fail to recognize

Dude, nobody said last year's problems were all Schaub.

You also conveniently forgot Schaub had more weapons this year and last.. Keenum is outperforming him.

atleast our losses arent blow-outs anymore.. weve lost 3 in a row by 3 or less.. with 12 points left off the board due to special teams..

You mean the coaching? Yeah they call all let the door hit themselves on the way out.

The national consensus is that the Texans have the talent. The NFL is not the kind of league like the MLB or NBA where you commit to a rebuilding project. We can turn it around in one year. Fire the coach, get rid of the choker under center (which we have now done), and the core of our team will be ready to put the banner back up next year for another go at it.

the only thing anybody ever talked about was schaub. when people in threads would point out other problems it went back to schaub. and case is still hasn't won a game.

i still think the championship window is still there. they just have to make little changes here and there in a hurry.

Anyone else feel bad for Andre Johnson? I mean, he's clearly one of the best and most dominant receivers to ever play the game, though he's wasted his career here in Houston. I know he wants to stay here and that's why we love him, but now we have Case throwing to him so much we can clearly see how he was underutilized while Schaub was QB. Not only that, these past few seasons have been his best chance to win it all. While everyone else that's important on the team self destructs (Schaub, Foster, Cushing etc), he and Watt just keep chugging along.

Just kind of feel for the guy.
