Not one pass to the sideline with :37 to go in the half. Two passes in the middle of the field with receivers diving both times. That sort of play minimizes yard gainage and guarantees that time will be taken off the clock in the event of a completion, regardless of timeouts. I'm not quite sure what they were going for there at all. Getting the FG blocked was appropriate karma.
Can't blame the qb for not wanting to go deep this time, maybe the Cards were in Cover 2 and weren't letting any deep passes.

Keenum has been great in first halfs.... lets see what he can do in second half. Otherwise he is going to be known as a guy who is exciting and keep you in games but can never get the win and make the big plays to finish a game.
Must be frustrating for Watt to bust his tail to cause and get the fumble recovery and the Texans get no points out of it. Wonder if it's creeping in his mind if this is the team he wants to be in once his contract is up.
he hasnt thrown any tds in the 2nd half but hes moved the ball well in both games.. last week he set the team up for 9 points in the 2nd that should have been enough to seal a victory..
