I hate the Colts. I know they're classy and I definitely hate the Titans MORE (I refuse to defile actual t*** by calling the Titans "the t***"), but the fact that they're SO classy and every single NFL employee with a microphone just slobbers all over themselves when they talk about Peyton... ugh, just makes me want to repeatedly kick their a__. They collectively remind me of Billy Zabka's character in Back to School.

Before you ask, yes I have an inferiority complex about the sports teams I follow, and I don't pretend I don't. Besides the Texans, Oilers (pre-Nashville), Astros, & Rockets (all tortured, save for 2 shining years of 1994 & 1995) I also happen to be a Texas Tech alum and fan. Every team I root for, you can argue, has a "big brother" type rival that always kicks their a__.

The Colts' dominance annoys me much like the Braves did in the 90's and 2000s, they constantly win and have a great organizational structure. To be honest the Texans have never been in a position to challenge anyone until last year, Jets, much less the Colts. I guess you can call it jealousy of what they've built and continue to do on a week in week out basis, hoping one day the Texans can begin to smell those levels.

I don't hate the Colts at all.

They are the exact franchise that every team should be. They are a role model for the league.

And Peyton Manning deserves all the credit he gets. He will go down as probably the greatest to every play the position.

I did, especially since I just picked him up off waivers (someone dropped him last week).

And the debate will be over quickly. Of all the greats to throw the old pigskin around, none of them could win a huge game when they wanted? That dude is a choker. How can you be the best to ever play the position and throw a game sealing pick in the Superbowl?

Not to mention being the most dominant team in the decade by a good measure and you only win one ring. They're like .500 in the playoffs. Everyone jumps on the D when that happens though. Its all Manning with the regular season record though. Crazy how that works.

Luckily they faced Rex Grossman when they won that one. Also he should not have been SB MVP that game. It should have gone to the RBs. Either that or Sexy Rexy. Funny how memory forgets. History written by the winners and all that. As long as the Colts won, he was getting the trophy.

The dude has all the talent in the world and maybe the most talented of all time, but he is not in the conversation for the best. You have to have other attributes.

If I had to take a QB to win it all, and ultimately that's the goal, there are quite a few ahead of him. If I needed a commercial to sell a TV however, he's my guy. ;)

I'm a big Peyton fan but . . . he does tend to choke.
I remember the year the steelers won the superbowl
Steelers were on the 1 yd line. About to seal the game.
Then THE BUS fumbled and the Defense ran the ball back to like
    the 40.
Peyton could not get them 20 yds with plenty of time left for a good field goal
The kicker had to try an extra long kick . . and missed.

Peyton is at least winning 1-2 more rings before his career is over, no doubt about that.

Wow he through a pick against the superbowl champions....**** happens.

And the MVP should of gone to Rex or the RB's....? You really are clueless huh?

And no **** he got the MVP he was the best performer in that game.

When his career is done he will more often than not be considered one of the greatest of all-time to play that position and the game of football.

    Stop being so ignorant please.

He's going to have 2-3 rings, and possess almost every offensive NFL record for the QB position, by a wide margin.

Ignorant? Wow. You must have not watched that game. The RBs had a huge day and made plays all game long. Rex gave the Colts tons of hope as he stunk it up.

As for the pick. The dude had the chance to win the game. You tell me the best QB to ever strap up is given the ball back with the perfect amount of time to win and I'll take that any day. Not only does he not win it, he turns it over to ensure its not going to happen.

As for 1 or 2 more before he's done. Yeah good call because he's made it there twice in the 12 years he's been in the league and won one. Outstanding logic on your part.

Let's just look at this year. Is he the favorite as the season stands? Better than the Steelers, Raven, Jets or even the couple of teams in the div in Texans and Titans? The season is long, but right now his team is far from the best.

I'm not saying he will never succeed, but as it stands, not talking what may be, talking what is he is not there. Enjoy the stats because that's why they play the game.

    In short, Golf Foxtrot Yankee.

    Peyton Manning? A choker?

    LMAO.

I bet if you polled every coach and GM in the league, along with all of the people who have a vote for the hall of fame, they'd almost unanimously tell you they'd pick Peyton Manning over any QB in history if they were down by 4 with 2 minutes left to play.

So is that the perception or reality though? I have seen the dude come up big in games. The problem is that he has given more evidence to the contrary in the postseason. I'd take Brady, Big Ben or Brees in those situations over him right now.

That's just current players. As for historical, you think they'd all pick him over guys like Montana? Come on.

I'm not saying the guy isn't talented or that he sucks. What I'm saying is there's more to the position than talent and talking to the line and the line of scrimmage every down. Wasn't it the great philosopher Bill Parcels who said you are what you're record says you are? How does that apply in every argument, but this one?

Also I apologize for basing my Superbowl MVP argument on memory. Here are some stats.

    Peyton Manning - 25/38 247 yds 1 TD 1 INT 1 Fumble lost - Rating 81.79

    Rex - 20/28 165 yds 1 TD 2 INT 1 Fumble lost - Rating 68.3

    Addai/Rhodes - 190 yds rushing vs 6th rank rush D, 74 yds receiving and a TD.

    Goodnight now.

He's been to the Superbowl 2 out of the past 4 years. I'd say he's definitely gonna make it back again very soon.

Also you act as if getting to the Superbowl twice is such an easy thing to do. Hell we've never even made the playoffs.

And were not talking about who's team is better, were talking quarterbacks. Of course as of right now the Ravens/Steelers are better.....just look at the names on those rosters and the injuries the Colts have.

Is Peyton a better QB than Big Ben/Flacco/Mark Sanchez? By a huge margin he is.....

You said "i'm not saying he will never succeed"

Are you trying to say that he hasn't accomplished much yet? The guy could retire today and get into the Hall without even a question.

4 Time NFL MVP (The most ever by one player)
    9 Time Pro Bowler
    5 Time First All Pro
    3 Time Second Pro

    Just to list a few.

    Stop with the h8errade.

Lol.....Peyton Manning should be mad at his team for playing so well. It makes it look like he shouldn't of won the Superbowl MVP....what type of thought process is that.

Did you want Manning to tell his RB's to suck so he could pass more and pad his stats?

Oh well take away that MVP and he can just have his other Four
