The quote from Kubiak on why Cushing and not Diles is pretty glaring:

    "I didn't want Zac moving, I didn't like what I saw."

Hopefully it motivates Zac on the edge. Could use pressure from our OLBs when they blitz. Course, we may see more MLB blitzes with Cushing there, not that Ryans was a slouch in that area.

Sigh....is it next Monday yet?? This wait has been brutal, and it's only going to get worse.

I remember Kubiak saying in camp that Diles was on his way to be a Pro-Bowler WLB and that surpised me. I mean he is a decent player but he hasn't had a sack or INT in 2 years.

With the way the Giants have been molesting QBs, I am just happy Schaub got out of that game alive

I'm guessing wlb would be considered an outside lb and diles would never beat out the sack production of a 3-4 olb especially if compared to someone who had a monster season like elvis d.

But if you prorate diles' 08 season when he broke his leg, he would be right between demeco and ray ray as far as tackle/sack production goes. Currently however he's looking slow and as mike lb was a huge letdown
