Wow that suprises me. I don't Cushing has ever played that position. I thought they would just move Diles to MLB since thats where he played in college and start Adibi at WLB. Whetever the case it won't matter who starts versus the Colts because you only play 2 linebackers the whole game since you are going to play nickle and dime the whole game.
What worries me there is that Diles/Adibi cannot put pressure on the QB like Cush from the outside. But you need a tackling machine at MLB, not sure anyone else could do it but Cushing

Cushing playing MLB I can't say I love it, but I suppose: -it allows him to get to both sides of the field, whereas teams would otherwise just (happily) run away from him all day -with Dallas Clark out, there's not as much need to sick him on the TE -he can blitz just as easily from the middle if they stunt -we'll be in nickel all day against the Colts, so it won't be a huge change this game I'm great with him leading the defense. Just hope he adjusts quickly.
