So far, this has been the longest week of no football that I can remember, maybe because this season finally means something. Thank god for the byes, we can rest our star players and still win.

Reliant Stadium is gonna be rocking on Monday Night...for both the Texans and Vince Young. If the Texans want to exorcise whatever demons that are left from the 2006 draft, they better take care of business. Besides that, this game is pivotal for any continuing playoff talk.

Whew. Nobody got injured today. Slaton didnt fumble. Schaub was mistake free. Heck, Brown didnt even miss a FG.

Not a bad day for Texans football.

Yeah, the three game winning streak by the Titans makes an already compelling game that much more important. Should be fun!

I'm actually glad that the Titans have won 3 in a row.

No chance of taking them lightly. I can't wait for MNF.

Time for the strictest challenge for our reborn run defense - seeing our worst nightmare again (Johnson) and a running QB that basically gives them a wildcat offense.

I'm attending the Chargers-Denver game with some friends and then flying back Monday to be at Reliant for our game. Really looking forward to it. :)

These next three games are going to be absolutely huge. I hate the cliche, but this is the biggest stretch in team history. Three division games against competitive teams that all still have some chance at the playoffs.

The Titans are a longshot for the playoffs, but they are still alive and will be playing hard. A loss to us would put them out of their misery.

Jacksonville has Buffalo and San Fran, so they could easily be 7-4 when we meet them. And we all know what Indy is gonna bring.

I'm tempted to say that we have to win all 3 of these games to have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Definitely can't lose to Jacksonville...that gives them the tiebreak and a fairly easy path to 10-6 assuming they take care of business these next two weeks.

sadly, no. don't think i can handle all the VY fans anyways. i might shoot myself before i even reach the gate. :p

i'll be honest, i wasn't too worried about this game, but that was when Collins was at QB. i'm feeling the jitters just as i type this now.

You should be nervous, its gonna be a good game I think. I think its gonna be one-sided for a while and the other team is gonna keep it close at the end.

    Titans 31- Texans 24

    Ill be there.

    The AFC is WIDE open.

Just think... the Bengals are going to get all sort of run as a truly elite team now, and the Texans are pretty fresh off from man-handling them.

The Colts are still dangerous.... but we saw what this team had the capability to do to them last week.

    Bunch of 6-3 teams.

Texans need to handle MNF and take care of their own destiny. Can't wait for the 23rd!

    Sig bet.

mrdave, if the Titans lose and VY gets sacked at least once, your sig should say, "VY can't carry Mario's jock, and Kubiak is the man!" until the end of the Texans' 2009-2010 season.

if the Titans win, I'll put "Vince just wins" until the end of the Titans 2009 season.

if the Texans win but there is no sack, then no sig change.

    in?

It's going to be a good game.
