Not what I saw. Wade is always sending guys. The problem was, when the Saints sped up the passing game, the ball was out of Brees' hands before anyone could get there. The rush was there, but no rush is effective when a QB is launching in less than 3 seconds consistently. Two minute drill scenarios are not kind to Wade's defense, and the Saints game was not the only time this was made evident. For the same reason, offenses that have a top notch west coast passing scheme are lethal to Wade's 3-4/5-2 hybrid.
I was listening to Chris Berman and his SportsCenter cohorts analyze today's games. They talked at length about just everybody but the Texans. Then at the end of the show they mentioned the Texans score. At that moment somebody walked in the room talking and couldn't hear what they were saying, but it sounded like they were making fun of the Texan's defense being number one. They ending laughing. Did anyone hear what they said exactly?
Aaaargh! This is the first game of the season that has not been shown here in Tyler. I've been checking out the half time reports, etc and all they do is mention the score and then go on to show highlights of the rest of the games. Anyone have a link to some of the highlights or perhaps a replay of the game? Just a few images would be appreciated at this point. TIA.
y'know, I might've used that for a wallpaper too, if it wasn't for the fact Cushing's crotch is pointed straight at you. Something about men's crotches staring me in the face everytime I use my computer that's unsettling.

Wow, that was possibly the worst piece of analysis I've ever witnessed not written by a Chronicle employee.
Ya, same thing in Nacogdoches. I was pissed, until I realized it was being shown on Sunday Ticket. Thank god they gave it to us for FREE. Our Direct TV is in Houston, so I used my PS3 to watch through Sunday Ticket To GO. BAD ASS.
Seriously, I hope ESPN loves losing in the ratings war to CSI : Navasota, and the 8th spin-off of Law and Order as they continue to show Minnesota vs Green Bay and Jacksonville vs Indianapolis. It's like they've never watched a single minute of Texans football this year. You would think their jobs would depend on it, but clearly that's not the case.
It's not like this game was terribly exciting for anyone except Houston fans. Pretty lopsided contest.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/houston-texans/09000d5d82414093/Texans-postgame-press-conference Foster is a hell of a character. And Cushing is just a scary dude. Love this team.
It's also not like they pick these games on a week to week basis. What the Texans have done this season obviously has no effect on the MNF schedule because they made it before the season. Flex Scheduling only applies to Sunday Night Football and that doesn't even start until next week.
