The bucs do suck. I won't blame commentators/analysts for being skeptical of the Texnas. how many seasons in a row have we been picked as a dark horse just to go 6-10? We deserve skepticism.
If Cincy loses and Baltimore loses today then the Texans will be the number one seeded team by a half game in the AFC going into the bye.
they got up for those games, they were awol today we're beating a bad team, no other way to explain today's game.
How many seasons have we showcased a complete team, on both sides of the ball? We know how many elite players this offense has... we now realize this defense has an elite CB, elite ILB, and an elite blitz package.
see. there's an excuse. so Bucs got up for the other games. it couldn't possibly be that the Texans totally dominated.
So, you're saying if they were "up" for this game, we wouldn't win? I venture to say we win even if the Bucs play their best (hence being favored by 3). I thought they were playing us tough when it was only 9-0. Their defense looked like they were giving max effort... then it all came apart after that Arian catch and run. This is the NFL. Inferior teams beat good teams every week. The Texans saw that first hand against the Raiders. You gotta put together complete performances on both sides of the ball no matter who you play.
The cynicism is coming out again. This kind of dominance is a two-way street. It's not just because "Tampa sucks" that this is the score, it's also because the Texans are a GOOD TEAM.
I didn't say the Texans lucked out by the Bucs being awol. The Texans are doing what they are suppose be doing, beating up on a bad team. As far as I'm concerned, it's business as usual. No need to read more into this perfunctory game.
