Imagine if we started mallet on day 1 and were undefeated

Probably not happening since Mallet spent all of training camp and the pre-season with the Patriots.

Imagine if we traded for Mallet before preseason, started him from day 1, and were undefeated

can you stop these "imagine if..." posts.

how about this, if the Pats win, Texans are only 1 game back from the Colts.

He needed time to learn the playbook. Fitzpatrick is a gifted teacher and leader so we should thank him for his guidance even though he didn't pan out as the Texans QB.

    Imagine there's no football
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no basketball too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace...

imagine if the Texans entered the draft 2 years earlier, and drafted Brady in the 5th round...

He learned the play book from the great masters themselves, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

Texans will have to beat Cincinatti or Baltimore and beat Indy in Indy to have a chance at the playoffs. Oh, and win the rest of the other division games as well.

Not saying it's impossible, but will take a lot.

The Colts play Jacksonville, Washington, Cleveland, Houston, Dallas, and Tennessee. I see them losing only one, or maybe two of those games, at most. That's also counting on them to lose tonight as well.

The only good thing is that both the "big" conference/non-division games are home games.

Cincy and Baltimore have proven to be beatable... and of course the Texans can't afford to keep beating themselves.

Both teams are definitely beatable. If the defense can stop Bernard, and keep AJ Green to a minimum, they should be okay. In Baltimore, key on the pass game, and they're good there as well.

    It can be done.

I feel 10-6 is somewhat hopeful to possible, 9-7 is more probable, and 8-8 is somewhat disappointing, although what many expected.

Was really impressed by Mallett's calmness out there. How well he had things going. Very impressive for a guy starting his first NFL game

With the Colt's losing tonight, things could get interesting: 6-4 vs. 5-5. Wow, the Texans are in the chase.

Has a bit of charisma about him doesn't he? I liked the hurry up. I liked his demeanor, kind of got me into the game. He can make all the throws, but he managed the line of scrimmage well. He audibled and changed plays when appropriate. I loved the execution of the two minute drill. Blue is a serious find also. We may have the backfield of the future.
