O'Brien needs to STFU. He really shouldn't talk to the media because he's making himself look like a fool.

How long are the fans of Houston going through be conned by this **** show franchise?

The Texans seem to think that shedding payroll and every 4-5 years in free agency will make up for poor drafting, crappy coaching and awful player development. It doesn't work.

Brock is who the rest of the league thought he was... Scott Mitchell at $72,000,000. Why draft and develop a QB when you can over sign a back up?? Passing on Derek Carr and Dak Prescott isn't important when you have Smith and Obie.

Seriously what a mediocre franchise and the fans comeback like an abused girlfriend.

Post Game Recap and Reaction: Texans 9 - Broncos 27
I want the last three hours back.

After watching Brock Osweiler turn into a beast in the fourth quarter/overtime of Sunday night’s game, the question popped up about whether this was a turning point for the Brock Osweiler era in Houston.

After watching Monday night’s game against the Broncos, we now have an answer to that question:

    NO.

Not just no, but a resounding no. The Texans turned in what might have been their most inept performance of the season by scoring all of three (3!) field goals against the Denver Broncos, while the Denver Broncos looked like an actual NFL team.

The worst part is the insufferable and unending “I told you so’s” that are going to stream into the internets from media outlets for the rest of this week.

Brock Osweiler, for those of you who watched the game in its entirety (and why the hell would you?), threw 22/41 and gained a whopping 131 yards passing.

I want to like Brock Osweiler, and I really, DESPERATELY want to believe that he’s going to be the long term answer at quarterback for our Houston Texans, but we’ve played seven games now and he has shown zero improvement thus far, and in some respects appears to have regressed.

The offensive line, and I do mean offensive, just got worse after Derek Newton injured both of his legs from a non-contact injury. The most optimistic view of this would mean that Newton misses the rest of this season and probably the entirety of next year. What does that mean for us right now? More Chris Clark, which everybody was clamoring for, am I right?

The defense looked like Frank Bush was back to calling plays, and...and...I don’t even want to think about the rest of it.

As much as I loathe this team right now (and I'll be out tehre tailgating next week), I'm not going to put blame for Dak on them. Carr certainly because the reasoning was stupid as hell. They should have drafted Bridgewater or Garapolo if you go back a few drafts. As it stands now we're going to have to give up a ton of picks to get the best QB coming out of the draft (I'm liking Washington's QB a lot, I love accurate and good decision making QB's).

Ahh, AJ, the only bright spot on this horrid night of football. He was a man possessed tonight and has been fantastic all season. I think the only coach who is worth a damn on this team is the DB coach (who's name escapes me).

IIRC we now have 5 TOs in the red zone or within our own 30 so far this season. That is pathetic.

Didn't have it today. Guess they better go searching for that renewed sense of urgency.

Great. What the **** does that even mean or matter? Brandon Weeden & Tom Savage & Jon Weeks & Shane Lechler I'm sure compete hard, battle hard, are good kids and are getting better every day.

No ****ing kidding. Another week, another struggle offensively. What are you doing to fix it besides telling everyone "I gotta coach better"?

Time is ticking Brock. Play better or bench yourself.

Seriously BOB is just a walking cliche machine. He doesn't know the answer to any of the Texans problems and can't say that so he says; "I have to coach better" rather than "The checks are still cashing."

One thing we know for sure... McNair and his son Rick Smith are sleeping well tonight.

Browns fans get the opportunity to get a Qb early in the draft; winning our crappy division won't allow us to get one
