Smith getting pressure in the first half was giving them fits, but he's probably getting gassed by now.
Cliched, easy, BS excuse. It's a lot tougher to catch up when your sputtering pass game faces a nickel defense and keeps going 3 & out, handing the ball back to an offense licking its chops to tear through our defense. When you have a back shredding a defense, you can use him to keep the opposing offense (and our hall of fail defense) off the field. It was nonsensical for Kubiak to not do that against Indy (and Dallas, and other games), but he played right into their hands.
Did you guys catch the announcers saying that Kubes admitted that going with a young secondary was a poor decision. First time i'd ever heard of him admitting that. All I ever recall hearing is "we're going with these guys".
The only time I wished he would have ran the ball instead of pass was on the 2 Pick 6's(Indy MNF and Baltimore MNF). When we were up in the first Indy game we came out in the 2nd half and that's all we did was run the ball.
Tim Tebow is having a career day. Who would have thought that would happen? Hard to believe they can't figure out how to D the screen pass yet.
Six point lead ... this is is starting to look like the Texans will find a new way to lose in the final seconds...
yup. and that incomplete pass was Foster's fault. He was supposed to pick up the corner blitz and didn't.
