He left it open to interpretation. Entire staff? Offensive staff? Defensive staff? Special Teams staff? And he's just covering his bases. Cant be wrong if you say both. "Kubiak is going nowhere." - See. I told you guys he was going nowhere. "I'll be surprised if the staff isnt fired." - Sure enough, I said [x] weeks ago Gary and staff would be fired.
And Berman kept asking him one dumb question after another. Foster kept telling him how he didn't understand the questions and they were dumb.
Yea, I remember the whole Bodden thing from the preseason. He made a couple of other tweets that lead me to believe he meant EVERYONE but he does have a way of leaving himself some wiggle room.
I didnt hear Foster/Berman but I wish someone would get on McClain for asking Kubiak similar questions on Monday. "Gary, how do you feel after this loss? Is this loss different from any other?" "It's a tough loss John. As difficult as any other. They're all tough. We just gotta keep battlin and close the season out next week. Our kids are good kids, just gotta keep pushin'." "Gary, Foster ran the ball 5 times in the second half. You were up most of that time. Why didnt he get the ball more?" "You're right. That's on me. He shoulda got the ball more but that was on me."
Anyone else not seeing updates for the @houstontexans twitter?? They used to update all the scores and stuff. Haven't heard a peep from them since the inactives.
I'm not following them but currently looking at their twitter page and the tweets are there. Some in game tweets, some post game quotes. Last tweet was http://twitter.com/HoustonTexans
So if/when the staff is fired, how long will it take to find a new hire? Will they wait until the CBA is finalized and there will DEFINITELY be a season, or are they going to start the search immediately, and have someone in place in time for draft preparation (mid-February)?
Strange, I just got the note that the game was moved next week. Ah well, was hoping they were keeping some drastic changes under wraps.
Brady and Manning know how to make full use of even a half-decent running game. As soon as his running back breaks a 15-20 yard gain, Brady pulls a play-action call and looks for the deep completion. They don't sit around waiting for the defense to overload the box and tackle their running back in the backfield. I know Schaub doesn't have the big arm but at least he should be able to complete a nice 30 pass down the field after a play-action off an Arian Foster caliber running back. Man, Brady is now pumping play-actions TDs off Danny freaking Woodhead.
The NFL wants both the Titans-Colts game and Jaguars-Texans game to be played at the same time. If the Titans beat the Colts and the Jaguars beat the Texans then the Jags will win the division. When the schedule first came out all Eastern and Central time zone games were scheduled at noon. The NFL would then flex the more important games to 3:15.
Of course the Jags will. Playoff spot on the line. As others have mentioned, if it wasnt for a Rusty Smith led Titans team, Texans would be on a 9 game losing streak.
LMAO man that is spot on. McClain ask the same dumb questions every wk and Kubiak gives the same dumb ass answers.
As I recall last year, a certain team decided to pull their star "Laser-Rocket Armed" QB against the JETS, late in the season. It wound up costing an in-division team a shot at the wild-card and their first playoff season ever. F*** you COLTS! Sit everyone including Leinart. Dan Orlovsky needs to take all the first team snaps this week. Send the JAGS to the playoffs and screw over the franchise that screwed us over.
It really doesn't matter, the Colts will be in if they win. Hard to imagine them losing at home to the Titans who can't wait for their season to end.
