Right... and if they win, they should have the tiebreaker. I know that's pretty obvious but I'm not exactly sure how tiebreakers work. I assume H2H takes precedence.
Nice win. Nice to see the team overcoming a 3 turnover game, and coming from behind for big win. 5-3. Me likey. Go Texans! Great game by Moats! And Brian Freaking Cushing.....HE IS A MAN!!!!!
Wow, how in the world did he catch that??? Jets still alive. Oh well, pass interference either way. Jets will probably rush it in from here.
5-3, it would be nice if we could go into Indy and steal one next week. I like how we're dominating the bad teams, though. We wouldn't have done that in the past. Good win.
Dolphins playing tough...the game vs them in Dec is the one I am circling as the key game for our playoff chances.
Finally an 100 yard rusher, and it was a good sign that schaub was not rattled by the first 2 ints, even if one of those was on a catch that Dre should have caught. Shows a lot of maturity. Also, Dave anderson came up huge, made some clutch catches when the offense really need it. As for slaton, Kubiak needs to break out his vintage pocket watch and try some Hypno-therapy on steve. =) 5-3!!!
We're at the halfway point for the Texans, and if the season ended today, they'd be in the playoffs. Long way to go, but it's incredible to be able to say that.
And, if they could re-do that Jags game, they probably win that.... and the Cardinals game was a close loss that they have really learned from (much better at short yardage situations). Really only one bad game this year... the Jets game... which again, if they had to re-play today (and game plan for the Jets blitzing defense), they likely do better. The bottom line is improvement....w should continue to see it.
And if the Niners started Alex Smith last week, the Texans would've likely lost. Our record is exactly where it should be.
Why would the Niners have started him? The only reason he played was bcecause the Texans defense was so damn effective against Hill. I'm just merely pointing out how we've improved from the start of the season... especially when you consider teams like the Jets and Jags (the teams we'll be fighting for playoff spots with) have not had the same sort of improvement we have had.
Hmm no, it was more of us not being prepared to face a backup QB. Its a similar situation to Sage. He was a savior because teams weren't ready for him, IMO.
