I was hoping they go for it, but it was a smart coaching desicion. Our defense is reliable. The way we have been putting pressure on Fitspatrick, im expecting a pick or two by the end of the game.
Not that I give a crap but I thought when the Texans play the Cowboys game is blacked out if there on at the same time? Fox is showing the Cowgirls/Seahawks lol...Weird day
By the way, that runback is exactly one of the reasons I say kicking it was a terrible decision. If you have a good defense and trust them, then having the opposing offense backed up inside the 5 is ideal. By going for it, you give yourself, at a minimum, a 50/50 shot at getting 7 instead of 3. But even if you don't pick it up, your defense has them backed up in the shadow of their end zone, as opposed to at least the 30 (and in this case, the other 30) on the kickoff. And if you hold the three and out, you'll get the punt practically in field goal range already (to make up for the one you didn't get). To me, football teams/fans - particularly those with good defenses - don't think of the field position impact of 4th and short/goal situations inside the five. That's the tipping point for me. Sure, I'd kick it if the Bills would take over at the same point on the field. Otherwise... no thanks, I'll take my chances.
