This game shouldn't have been this close and shouldn't have come down to a last second field goal. I'm just glad it was the Texans kicking it and winning the game this time.
He literally just owned burrow. I'd take him over burrow. Give CJ those wide recievers and he might be throwing for 600 yards every game. We got a bunch of no name guys running around with 150 plus yard recieving games.
Honestly I only had an issue with one play, and it was a pass play actually. up 3, late in the 4th, 3rd and 3.. CJ tried to throw a 30 yard bomb to Tank. It should have been slant routes for 3-5 yards, worst case you don’t get it and you have to punt but can at least run down to the 2 min warning.. anyways, Boyd had a bad game and let us take it in the end.
It's not that I'm not patient. Burrow has just always had the best weapons in the leagues even in college. We don't really know how good he is.
It was interesting watching how inaccurate he got late in the game once he needed to throw the ball down the field. Still, I was really impressed with his ability to take what the defense was giving him over and over again.
Yeah but this is a very young team led by a rookie QB and rookie head coach. We criticized conservative play calling in close losses this season and today they do the opposite and pass on 3rd down with a late lead. They have some growing pains but are fun nonetheless and ahead of schedule.
Singletary the first Texan to rush for 100+ yds on the road since Dec 15 2019 (Carlos Hyde vs oilers)
CJ Stroud is so good... You: "How gooood is he?" He is so good, he has full Cowboys counties like Brownsville talking about CJ.
At his contract he might be the most valuable player in the league. You can get him + Tyreek hill or another elite receiver + another good player for the same amount as a top tier QB.
