now, i want them to throw it at least once down the field (vs. those who were complaining about the run on 3rd & 16 on the first drive)

I'd go up top to Hopkins... see if he can draw a flag... if its not there, run the clock out.

Get a field goal at least. Take that momentum into halftime with the ball coming back.

One thing that is abundantly clear... this coaching staff definitely benefits from an extra week of preparation for one opponent.

Should serve them well if they get to the Super Bowl (LOL).

"get a FG at least" is a bit over the top. They were at their own 29 with 30 secs to go. But whatever.

Also this timeout by Cincy is stupid. Houston should go with a hail mary here.

I agree with you. On all accounts. I was just being hopeful.

Savage could make this team relevant.

You think Hoyer has been the main reason they're not winning this game?

So much complaining in this thread when the team is staying in it against an undefeated opponent

    I just checked score.

    Lmao.

    They need a new coach.

All this talent and you are getting whooped night in and out.

Hoyer's 29.5 QB rating is a pretty big factor, yeah.

So.... Who thought the Stros would be Houston's best team this year....

No lie that was our best half of the year. If we lose this game, I'm still proud of the effort they brought tonight. Team looks way diff.

I dunno... but I had more fun watching the "bad" Astros than I am watching the bad Texans or Rockets.

The Rockets, pound for pound, have to be the most disappointing vis a vis expectations.
